Integrated firewall offers users five security settings to block well-known attacks
With ProLine's dual connections, Ethernet and USB, there are flexible solutions for configuring a home or small business network. With the addition of a simple Ethernet hub, up to 253 users can be accommodated.
With any configuration, ProLine is remotely manageable and upgradable using TR-069 or WT-087, so Service Providers can offer added value while decreasing the need for truck rolls and service calls to subscribers.
ProLine uses industry proven Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) for its connection, and LAN networks
are easily accomodated through the use of Network Address Translation (NAT) and Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP). ProLine helps eliminate the need to load PPPoE on each of the networked PCs.
As standards continue to evolve, users can benefit from software upgrades to faster, more powerful broadband bandwidth. So investment protection is yet another advantage for users and Service Providers.
Installation and configuration can be done in a matter of minutes using any standard Web browser.
Westell's ProLine offers the versatility of a modem and router with high performance and ease of use. It is an affordable broadband access device that also offers multi-user Internet LAN access for residential or business applications.
