IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
To prevent personal injury or property damage, read and follow all instructions
and warnings.
O
PERATING PRECAUTIONS
• Read all instructions, including these important safeguards and the care and use
instructions in this manual.
• Do not place an empty popper on a heated stove top. The pan may melt or pit if
heat cannot be transferred to oil and popcorn.
• Do not leave popper unattended while popping. Popcorn should be stirred
continually throughout the popping process.
• Hot oil can burn or catch fire if left too long on a heated stove top. Always
attend heating oil and do not heat it without adding other ingredients.
• Do not allow bare skin near a pan that contains hot oil. Hot oil may occasionally
pop out of the pan while heating.
• Never use water or liquid to extinguish an oil fire. For best results, use an
approved fire extinguisher.
• Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children.
• Do not use for other than its intended use.
• For household use only.

A
SSEMBLING YOUR STOVE-TOP POPPER
Before using your stove-top popper and after each use, wash all parts in warm,
soapy water, rinse
thoroughly and dry. To
prolong the life of your
stove-top popper, do not
wash parts in the
dishwasher.
1. Hold the lid by the main handle and place the lid peg in the hole of the popper
pan.
2. Line up the clamp under the main handle between the two dimples on the pan
rim.
3. Press down on the main handle until the lid locks in place.
4. Attach the lid clamp to the pan by pressing down on the wood lid knob.
U
SING YOUR STOVE-TOP POPPER
Heat The Stove:
• For an electric range, set the burner to medium high.
• For a gas range, set the burner to medium.
• For flat-top ranges, set the burner to medium low.
Note: Because stove top heat output varies, adjust the temperature as needed so
popping is completed about three minutes after the popcorn is added to the pan.
Flat-top ranges cook hotter than standard ranges, pay close attention to the popping.
Like most pans, the Stove-Top popper will rock when used on a flat-top range.
Popping Popcorn:
Tip: Use fresh popcorn. Old popcorn loses its moisture and won’t pop well.
1. Place 1-3 tablespoons of oil and ½ cup popcorn in the popper and place on the
stove top. Note: Don’t use butter, margarine, shortening or lard in place of oil,
as these will burn or smoke excessively.
2. Slowly and continuously, turn the handle.
3. The popping cycle will be complete in approximately three minutes. When you
no longer hear vigorous popping and stirring becomes difficult, remove from
heat. Carefully empty the popcorn into a serving bowl from the left side lid. Use
a hot pad if you find it necessary to open the lid when emptying.
