IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES
Safety is a combination of common sense, staying alert and knowing how your item works.
SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING: To avoid mistakes and serious injury, read and understand this entire instruction manual.
Learn the tool’s applications, limitations, and possible hazards. These safety rules cannot address every
possible scenario you may encounter, so please use common sense and caution when using the tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
1. Keep your work area clean, uncluttered, and well lit. Cluttered areas invite injuries and accidents. Keep the
ground clear of tripping hazards. Do not work on floor surfaces that are slippery with sawdust or wax.
2. Observe work area conditions. Keep bystanders at a safe distance from the work area. Never allow children or
pets near the tool.
2. Avoid dangerous conditions. DO NOT use power tools in wet or damp areas or expose them to rain. DO
NOT use power tools in the presence of flammable liquids or gases.
PERSONAL SAFETY
1. ANSI Z87.1-approved safety glasses should be worn by the operator and any assistants when using a miter saw.
Use ear protection such as plugs or muffs during extended periods of operation. Wear additional safety gear as
required by local, state and federal regulations.
2. Dress for safety. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties, or jewelry (rings, watches, etc.) and tie back long
hair to prevent anything from getting caught in the power tool.
3. Stay alert - watch what you’re doing and use common sense when using the tool. Do not use while you are tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication that may affect your ability to properly use the tool. A moment of inattention may result in serious personal injury.
4. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
MITER SAW STAND USE & CARE
1. For maximum stability, use the miter saw stand only on a flat, level surface.
2. Use the right tool for the job. Do not modify or use the tool to do a job for which it was not designed. Unauthorized modification may damage the tool and/or cause personal injuries.
3. Be careful when adjusting the stand. Keep fingers and hands clear to avoid getting them trapped.
4. Assemble and use the miter saw stand indoors only. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the electrical system will increase the risk of electric shock.
5. Do not exceed the weight capacity of the miter saw stand. The main frame can support 330 pounds of total
weight (saw + material). Do not exceed this weight for any reason. Be aware of dynamic loading, as sudden movement may briefly create excess load, causing product to fail.

IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES
(Continued)
6. Do not overload the side extension arms.
7. Do not step, climb or sit on the miter saw stand.
8. Before operation, ensure that the locking pins on each leg are in the locked position and the mounting clamps
are securely locked in place.
9. Make sure the miter saw is as centered as possible to maintain the stand’s balance. Unbalanced stands can tip
during operation and cause injuries.
10. Before plugging in the power for the miter saw, ensure that the saw is securely fastened to the stand to prevent
unwanted movement of the saw.
11. Always check for damaged or worn out parts before using the miter saw stand. Check for alignment of moving
parts, jamming, breakage, improper mounting, or any other conditions that may affect the tool’s operation. Any
part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced before use. Do not use if the stand becomes damaged in any way.
12. Maintain tools properly. Always keep tools clean and in good working order. Store the miter saw stand in a
dry, secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect the tool for good working condition prior to storage and
before re-use.
These safety instructions can’t possibly warn of every scenario that may arise with this tool,
so always make sure to stay alert and use common sense during operation.
