705
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Two Wall mounts configurations are available for Water--Max™: « REAR MOUNT KIT (p/n 22686) brackets are 30 “ wide. Additional width may be required to properly
position bracketry. This installation requires a minimum of 30” clear from wall to aisleway. Faucet is positioned at the front of the unit.
« SIDE MOUNT KIT (p/n 22687) brackets are 30” wide. Pitcher shelf adds 4” to overall width.
Additional width may be required to properly position bracketry. This installation requires a minimum of 16” clear from wall to aisleway. Faucet is positioned at the left side of the unit.
2. The building structure must be able, at the installation location, to safely support 250 pounds vertical load, and 150 pounds load, compression and tension, perpendicular to the mounting surface.
« Hollow Construction: « Each bracket must be attached to at least two vertical studs. « For wooden studs, 3/8” lag bolts, long enough to penetrate the stud by a minimum of 2”, are required.
Wooden studs must be pilot-drilled. « For metal studs, properly installed 1/4” toggle bolts are required. « Washers are required on all bolts, between the head of the bolt and the bracket. « Masonary Construction: « Each bracket must be attached with at least three 3/8” lag bolts and matching masonary anchors. « Anchors must not be installed into mortar joints or expansion strips. « Washers are required on all bolts, between the head of the bolt and the bracket.
3. Water-Max™must be installed level:
« If wall is not in plumb, shims must be installed as required to ensure Water-Max™ is installed level. « Installation of shims must not compromise the integrity or strength of the wall mount installation.
4. Recommended faucet height is between 38” and 42” above the floor. A template reference line drawn between 31-3/4” and 35-3/4” above the floor will place the faucet at the recommended height.
5. Water-Max™ must be attached to the bracketry with the supplied bolts, washers and lock washers.
