THE WELLER ADVANTAGE:

Another Weller breakthrough gives you two pencils in one. This powerful
80-watt pencil allows rapid production when working with lead-free solder,
high mass components, and other demanding applications. A special silver
heating element for low thermal loss and fast recover make this unit ideal
for continuous production work. And the interchangeable barrel gives you
the option of working with either a traditional length or shorter tip-to-grip.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

n Modern LCD technology gives the user critical information at a glance

n Three freely programmable temperature preset buttons allow

quick and easy temperature changes

n Powerful 80-watt pencil allows rapid production when working

with lead-free solder, high-mass components, and other
demanding applications

The following functions are built in to the WD1 power unit:

n Setback time: Allows programming of the number of minutes

(1 – 99), before temperature sets back to idle mode.

n Standby temperature: Allows selection of desired setback temperature,

down to 200°F.

n Temperature lockout: Allows supervisor to easily set a temperature

that cannot be changed by the operator.

n °F/°C switching: Allows the temperature display to read in either °F or °C.

n Temperature offset: Allows the display temperature to be adjusted

+/- 72°F when working with higher mass tips, where the temperature
reading can be affected by the mass of the tip.

n Auto-Off Time: Allows programming the number of minutes

of inactivity (1 – 99), before the station powers off automatically.

With a tip-to-grip distance of just 37 mm, accuracy is unsurpassed. And with the
heating element built into the pencil rather than the tip, replacement tips cost
substantially less when compared to systems with tip cartridges.
