Conversion instructions
The air pressure switch and gas manifold pressure must be correct for the altitude at the job site. Failure to install
correctly could result in nuisance shutdowns or production of poisonous carbon monoxide gas, causing severe
personal injury, death or substantial property damage.
AHE boilers must be modified for high altitude operation at the job site as follows:
1. Remove tubing and wires from existing pressure switch. See Figure 1. Remove air pressure switch and replace with pressure
switch in kit.
2. Remove the Conversion label (part number 550-224-309), supplied in kit. Place a checkmark on the label for the altitude range.
3. Adjust gas manifold pressure to proper value shown on Conversion label.
4. Affix Conversion label (part number 550-224-309) on jacket near rating label.
5. Follow Boiler Manual “Checkout” procedures to assure the boiler is now operating properly after conversion parts are installed.
