Guide
Note: Please Read This Handbook before Using Goer GBH100 Bluetooth Headset
Users do not have the right to enjoy the service after sale if they are not permitted by the manufacturer to make changes or modify the device in any way.
1.1 EMI
Note: Nearly every modern electronic device is susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) if inadequately shielded, designed, or otherwise configured for electromagnetic compatibility.
Electronic Devices
To avoid electromagnetic interference, please turn off your Bluetooth headset in any places where posted notices instruct you to do so.
Aircraft
Turn off your Bluetooth headset when on board an aircraft. The use of Bluetooth headset might interfere the telecommunication system of an aircraft.
Medical Instruments
Please keep away from the medical instruments in the hospital or medical units when using Bluetooth headset without being allowed. If you use any other personal medical device, such as pacemaker, please consult the manufacturer of your device to determine if it is adequately shielded from electromagnetic interference. Your physician might assist you in obtaining this information.
1.2 Safety Instruction
Placement
You are advised to put the Bluetooth headset in the place where no extrusion happened when it is not be used. Extrusion may lead to headset damage or body hurt.

Children
Keep the Bluetooth headset away from children. Some small knockdown parts might be swallowed and result in danger.
2. Brief Introduction
2.1 Bluetooth T echnology
Bluetooth technology is a short-distance wireless communication technology. Bluetooth products are used in the frequencies of industry, science and medical industry (ISM). It applies technology of frequency-jump in order to avoid interference, the frequency band of 2.4GHz2.4835GHz is divided into 79 channels and transfer data by the frequency of 1600 times per second with the transmission distance of about 10m(Class II).
2.2 Bluetooth Headset
Bluetooth headset is a wireless headset developed with Bluetooth technology. Your Bluetooth wireless headset can communicate with other Bluetooth devices such as mobile phone, PDA, and PC etc., within a range of approximately 10 meters (33 feet).

3. Using the Headset
3.1Overview

To turn on /off the headset, answering call or ending call, To indicate operating mode by the inside indicator light

Attention Before Use

1. Goer GBH 100 Bluetooth Headset accords with Bluetooth Ver. 1.1 and supports Bluetooth Headset Profile and Bluetooth Hand-free Profile).
2. Goer GBH 100 headset must be fully charged (at least 2.5 hours) before you use it for the first time.
3. Pairing Goer GBH100 headset signal with your Bluetooth phone or other Bluetooth devices as 3.7 before use the headset.
4. Make sure the distance between headset and phone or other Bluetooth devices is less than 10m. Distance should be shortened if there is any barrier in between.
3.3 Adjust the Headset to Your Ear
The weight of GBH100 is just 10g. Wearing positions could be adjusted referring to the following figures.

Adjust earhook angle as shown in the figure below:
Note: Intensive care should be taken during this process in order not to break it.

3.5 Battery Charge
To char ge the battery:
1. Plug the charging adapter into the headset’s charging cradle.
2. Plug the charging adapter into an AC outlet. The red indicator light is on when connected.
3. Insert Goer GBH 100 Bluetooth headset into the charging cradle as shown in the below figures
1) Open up the lid of charging cradle;
2) Insert headset to charging cradle;
3) Press down the lid of charging cradle slightly.
4. The red indicator light flashes twice a second during charging.
5. Headset is fully charged when red indicator light stops flash to continuous light.
6. Unplug the charging adapter from outlet.
7. Remove the Bluetooth headset from charging cradle.
Note 1: The headset will be fully charged more than 2.5 hours before you use the headset for the first time.
Note 2: The red indicator light on headset will flash once every three seconds and make a caution alert when the battery is running out of power.

3.6 Turning on or off Bluetooth Headset
1. Turn he ad se t O N: Press multi-function button
for 5 seconds until blue light blinks 5 times and headset beeps twice, then release the multifunction button. The power is on.
2. Turn headset OFF: Press the multi-function
button for 3 seconds until red light blinks quickly and headset beeps twice, then release the key. The power is off.
Pairing Your Headset and Phone

Before using the headset, make sure that the headset is paired to your phone or other Bluetooth devices.
1. Ensure the headset power is off before pairing.
2. Press the multi-function button until red and blue
lights blink alternately; this process takes about 7
seconds, then release. The headset starts pairing. The blue light blinks first and please don’t release the button until red and blue lights blink alternately. The headset beeps two times during paring if you wore the headset.
3. Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the headset by the phone’s instruction guide. It will take several seconds to pair headset to your phone.
4. Your phone will display blue-tooth’s name after pairing. Choose “GBH 100” and confirm.
5. PIN=0000 is required to be entered; pairing is
started after PIN confirmation.
6. Blue light is on instead of red and blue lights
blinking alternately until pairing is done.
Note 1: Your phone cannot find the headset when your headset is not in the function of pairing.

Note 2If pairing is unsuccessful in about one minute, the headset will automatically transfer to the function of “waiting”.
Note 3:Pairing is necessary because it guarantees communication security. Pin exchange can assure connection between your phone and headset merely.
3.8 Making a Call
Make sure the headset is connected to your phone before you make a call. The headset can support the function of “voice dialing” if your phone had this function too. For details on voice-dialing, see your phone’s user’s guide.

Press multi-function button until headset beeps, indicating that you can say the name.
Note: Suggest using headset to record your
dialing voice.
2. Using phone’s keyboard
Dial numbers in the normal way. Your can hear on the headset when the call is connected.
3. Re-dialing the last dialed number
Press “volume increase” or “volume decrease” key.
Note: Your phone’ setting determines whether there is keypad tone or not. Adjust volume during your call is connected as shown 3.12
3.9 Answering An Incoming Call
Before using the headset to answer an incoming call, make sure that your headset is connected to your phone or phone has stored the pairing information of Bluetooth headset.
1. When there is an incoming call, the ring tone is

heard from the headset and the blue indicator light blinks quickly. Press the multi-function key and then release to answer the phone.
2. If “automatic answer” function is set on your phone, the headset automatically answers the call when it rings.
3. If the headset is off when there is an incoming call, press the multi-function key to turn on the headset, and then press it again to answer a call.
Note 1After being paired to the headset, some brands of phones don’t ring when there is an incoming call; the headset rings only, press the multi-function key to answer a call.
Note 2 Some brand of phones, e.g. SonyEricsson/P800, don’t have the function of incoming call signal notice on the headset, just press the multi-function key to answer a call when the phone rings.
3.10 Ending a Call
When using Goer GBH 100 Bluetooth headset, you can end a call as following:
1.
Press the multi-function key on the headset;
2.
Press the end key on the phone;
3.
Automatically end a call when the caller hangs
up.
3.11 Call transferring from phone to headset
1. Press the multi-function key on the headset or the relevant key on the phone to transfer a call from phone to headset.
2. Turn off the headset or use relevant function on the phone to transfer a call from headset to phone.

Note: This mobile function is different from brand to brand.
3.12 V olume Adjustment
When having a call,you can control volume through volume button.
1. Press the “volume increase” button to increase volume.
2. Press the “volume decrease” button to decrease volume.
Note 1:There will be low and short sound each time pressing the volume button, and the same time volume will be higher and lower . Note 2: Please tune your Bluetooth headset to a suitable volume between max. and min. Note 3:
to control the volume of Bluetooth headset.

3.13 Silence
1.When having a call, press the volume control
button until hearing inflexionthen microphone will be in whist state. The other side will not hear your voice.
2.When having a call,press the volume control
button to bring to the normal state from whist state.
3.14 Low Battery Alert
When the battery is running out of power,the headset indicator will flash from blue to red and beep sound will be heard every 20 seconds indicating that the battery needs to be charged.

4. Important Information
4.1 Maintenance
1. Please keep the headset in a dry place, clean it
with soft cloth.
2. Please do not keep the headset in a dusty place,
neither with very high nor low air temperature.
3. Please do not disassemble the headset by yourself.
The headset will be damaged in an unprofessional way.
4. Please do not have rough operation like dropping,
knocking or shaking the headset to the Bluetooth headset.like drop, knock or shake the headset
5. Please do not short circuit the charging interface
to protect the battery from being damaged.
4.2 Battery
1. Before the headset is being used for the first time
please make sure the battery is fully charged at least 2.5 hours.
2.
Battery maintenance:
- Only professional can change battery.
- When the headset is not used for a long time, it
needs to be charged at least once every two months.
- Never dispose of batteries in a fire in case of explosion.
3. The headset call duration is up to about 5 hours, and standby time is up to 150 hours
4.3 Power Supply
1. Alternative power adapter can only connect with
its compatible power source.

2. Hold the adapter not the cable when you remove the adapter from power socket.
3.
Please do not use liquid or spray cleanser when
cleaning the headset, and it must be removed from the power socket.
4.4 Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does Bluetooth headset can be used for all
mobile phones?
Noit is only suitable to mobile phones which
have function of Bluetooth.
2. How long is effective distance from the handset
to mobile phones?
Effective distance is 10 meters (30 feet,Class II)
with no barriers.
3. Can other Bluetooth phone user hear my
conversation?
No. You create a private link between the headset
to Bluetooth phone after they got being paired.
4.
Why does red light turn on and flash?
It shows that the battery is running out of power.
Please charge it.
5.
Why can not mobile phone sea rch the headset
when the is under pairing?
Bluetooth headset can be searched only when it is
in the function under pairing, please refer to 3.7 for the details.
6. Is pairing needed each time when you use the Bluetooth headset?
No. They will store the paired information even
one or two of them are power off after two Bluetooth devices have paired.
7. Is it needed to reconnect when there is
interruption between mobile phones and the headset?
Different brand handset has different requirement.

Some handsets can be connected automatically if the headset is in the effective distance. While some mobile phones are needed to input password to reconnect it.
8. Why is there noise in my Bluetooth headset? -When the distance between mobile phones and
headset exceeds operating range or in the area of limit, the noise will be louder.
If the signal for mobile phone is not very good in
your regionthe headset will have bad calling quality either.
9.What to do if the handset is not clear? -Tune the phone volume or the handset volume, at
the same time please check if your mobile phone is in the region with good signal.
