• Why a breaker instead of fuses?
• A breaker minimize downtime, can be switched on
immediately after a fault is cleared
• Can the UBW line replace the ACW line?
• For protection purposes yes, on the physical side there
is a slight difference in the size and mounting
dimensions
• Do all the frame sizes have various KA ratings?
• Yes but check which is available for each frame
• Can the options be installed in the field?
• Yes with the exception of the 225 frame units
• Can you reverse feed UBWs? – Yes
• Are UBWs DC rated? – No
• Are the UBWs 100% breakers?– No
