Power supply

4 x 1,5V AAA Micro Batteries
Exchange of batteries:

- turn scale upside down

- open battery compartment at the bottom of the scale and insert batteries as indicated.

Installation of scale - precautions

To obtain precise weighing, place the scale on a fi rm level surface. Avoid vibrating base, or direct sunlight, moisture
and dusty environments. Ideal room temperature between 10°C and 30°C.

Note:

When using batteries the scale automatically shuts off after approx. 60 seconds of non-use.

Switch the scale on.

Place empty container onto the weighing platform - scale displays weight of container -

Press the Memory key - scale displays ............................................................

Place item A into the container - scale displays only weight of item A.

Press Memory key - scale displays total weight of container and item A.

Press Memory key again - scale displays ........................................................

Place item B into container - scale displays weight of item B.

Press Memory key - scale displays total weight of container / items A and B.

The above procedure can be repeated until the capacity of the scale is exceeded. (weight of

container and items)

When container / items are removed from the platform scale is ready for further weighing

procedures.

Tare Function
On/Off/Tare

Switch the scale off. Place container onto the weighing platform.

Switch the scale on - scale displays ...................................................................

Place item A into container - scale displays weight of item A.

Press key - scale displays ..................................................................................

Place item B into container - scale displays weight of item B.

Press key - again scale displays ........................................................................

The above procedure can be repeated until the capacity of scale is exceeded.
When container and items are removed from the platform

scale displays a negative weight .......................................................................

For further weighing procedures press key - scale displays ..............................

HOLD-Function

Hold

Obscures a large size item or packet the display, use the HOLD key.

Switch the scale on, scale displays ............................................................

Press the HOLD key, scale displays ...........................................................

Place large (bulky) item onto the platform for min. 5 seconds

Scale displays ..............................................................................................

Remove item from the platform, weight is still readable on display for approx. 12 seconds.

Error messages

Exchange batteries or mains adaptor is faulty.

Max. weighing capacity is exceeded.

Switch the scale off and then on again.

Guarantee

The scale comes complete with a full 3 years guarantee from date of purchase for faulty workmanship or material.
In the unlikely event that it is necessary to return the scale for attention to your supplier, please retain the original
packing. Important: Please attach receipt / invoice of purchase. Exclusions to the guarantee include the battery,
damage caused through negligence or force. The use of non-leakproof batteries will invalidate the guarantee.
Today furniture is coated with various varnishes and polishes which may not be compatible wfth the rubber
feet of the scale. It is advisable to use a pad beneath the scale as we cannot be held liable for any damage

which may occur.
