This Registered Detail relates to TLX Silver Multi Foil Insulation. It is for use in new build and refurbished roofs, and timber
frame and masonry walls. The product must be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s details. To achieve the
minimum requirements of Approved Document L, a secondary insulation product will be required unless relaxations apply.

The insulation should not be carried over the junctions between roofs and walls required to provide a minimum period of fire
resistance.
Installation to be in strict accordance with manufacturers guides and recommendations and supported by relevant U-value
calculations incorporating material thermal properties as declared.
Appropriate thermal analysis will be provided in each instance to demonstrate continued compliance with Approved Document L
2010 / 2013. To achieve the minimum requirements of Approved Document L, a secondary insulation product will be required
unless relaxations apply.
LABC consider that TLX Silver will meet the functional requirements of the Building Regulations (listed
below) if the criteria detailed in this certificate are met;
