BEFORE ASSEMBLING, INSTALLING OR USING THIS PRODUCT.

This product is only intended and only safe for transporting ladders. It is the responsibility of the user to secure these materials to the rack before
transporting.

Ladders must be secured per ANSI standard A142.2-1990 paragraph 8.4.4. Ladder damage will occur from road shock and vehicle vibration if the
ladder is not properly secured to the ladder rack. Bouncing and side to side motion of an improperly secured ladder will cause wear and weaken the
ladder. Using a damaged ladder could lead to structural collapse resulting in serious injury or death. Place ladder in a raised position before transporting.
Driving with rack in lowered position may cause serious injury or damage to vehicle, ladder, rack or persons.

Never load your rack to exceed the safe capacity of your vehicle. Heavy loads when carried high can dangerously alter the center of gravity.

Loads should be approximately centered front to rear. Failure to do this will cause damage to the vehicle roof. Long loads that extend out the rear
of the vehicle will prevent the rear hatch from fully opening and cause damage if attempted.

(Purchased on or after 1/1/2009)

Knaack LLC (the “Manufacturer”) warrants to the original purchaser only that WEATHER GUARD®

Truck and Van Products

(the “WEATHER GUARD® Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase and
continuing for the expected lifetime of the WEATHER GUARD® Product. A copy of the original sales receipt must be supplied
to the Manufacturer at the time a warranty claim is made. This warranty terminates if the original purchaser transfers the
WEATHER GUARD® Product to any other person.

What is Covered

All WEATHER GUARD

®

Products identified above that are purchased on or after January 1, 2009.

What We Will Do to Correct Problems

Subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this limited warranty, the Manufacturer will remedy defects in materials

or workmanship by providing one of the following remedies at its option and without charge to the original purchaser for parts

or labor: (a) repairing the defective portion of the WEATHER GUARD
Product. In addition, the manufacturer may elect at its option, not to repair or replace the WEATHER GUARD

®

Product or (b) replacing the entire WEATHER GUARD®

Product, but

rather issue to the original purchaser a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the WEATHER GUARD® Product or a credit
to be used toward the purchase of new WEATHER GUARD® Product.

What is Not Covered
This limited warranty expressly excludes:

• Defects caused by normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or
modification to the product, or any types or repair of a WEATHER GUARD

Product other than those authorized or

provided by the Manufacturer.

• Defects resulting from conditions beyond the Manufacturer’s control including, but not limited to misuse, overloading,
or failure to assemble, mount or use the WEATHER GUARD
instructions or guidelines included with the WEATHER GUARD

Product in accordance with the Manufacturer’s written

Product or made available to the original purchaser.

• Damage to the contents of the box or vehicle.

• TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MANUFACTURER BE LIABLE FOR ANY

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for WEATHER GUARD

Notification Procedures

If the WEATHER GUARD

Product does not conform with the terms of this limited warranty, the original owner must promptly

notify the Manufacturer in writing upon discovery of the nonconformity. In order to receive the remedies under this limited

warranty, the warranty claim must describe the nature of the nonconformity, and a copy of the original sales receipt, invoice,

bill or other proof of purchase must accompany the claim. Repairs or modifications made to the WEATHER GUARD® Product
by other than the Manufacturer or its authorized agent will nullify this limited warranty. Coverage under this limited warranty is
conditioned at all times upon the owner’s compliance with these required notification and repair procedures. Warranty claims

must include reciprocal contact information and may be made via certified mail to:

Este producto fue diseñado y es seguro únicamente para transportar escaleras. Es responsabilidad del usuario asegurar estos materiales al soporte
antes de transportarlos.

Las escaleras deben asegurarse según el estándar ANSI A142.2-1990 8.4.4. Si no se aseguran correctamente al soporte para escaleras, éstas podrían
sufrir daños a causa de las sacudidas de la carretera y la vibración del vehículo. El movimiento lateral y de rebote de una escalera mal asegurada
ocasionará el deterioro de la escalera y disminuirá su vida útil. El uso de una escalera dañada puede provocar el colapso de la estructura y puede

causar lesiones graves o la muerte. Coloque la escalera en posición elevada antes de transportarla. Si conduce con el soporte en posición baja,

podría dañar el vehículo, la escalera y el soporte, y provocar lesiones personales graves.

Nunca sobrecargue el soporte excediendo la capacidad segura para su vehículo. Las cargas muy pesadas transportadas en la parte superior
pueden alterar peligrosamente el centro de gravedad.

Las cargas deben estar aproximadamente centradas con respecto a la parte frontal y trasera. De no hacerlo así se provocarán daños al techo del

Ce produit est uniquement destiné au transport d’échelles. Il incombe à l’utilisateur de xer solidement ces matériaux au porte-échelle avant le transport.
Les échelles doivent être xées selon la norme ANSI A142.2-1990, paragraphe 8.4.4. Des dommages à l’échelle peuvent se produire en raison de

chocs de la route ou de vibrations du véhicule si elle n’est pas correctement xée au porte-échelle. Tout rebondissement et tout déplacement latéral
d’une échelle xée de manière inadéquate peuvent provoquer de l’usure et affaiblir l’échelle. L’utilisation d’une échelle endommagée pourrait entraîner
un effondrement de la structure, ainsi que des blessures graves, voire fatales. Placer l’échelle en position relevée avant le transport. La conduite avec
un porte-échelle abaissé peut entraîner des lésions graves ou des dommages au véhicule, à l’échelle, au porte-échelle ou aux personnes.

Ne jamais dépasser la capacité de charge du porte-échelle pour votre véhicule. Les charges lourdes placées en hauteur peuvent modier le centre

de gravité de façon dangereuse.

Les charges devraient être approximativement centrées entre l’avant et l'arrière pour éviter d’endommager le toit du véhicule. Les échelles trop
longues qui dépassent l’arrière du véhicule empêcheront le hayon arrière de s’ouvrir complètement et l’endommageront si l’on essaie de l’ouvrir.
