BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
• Dieses Produkt dient als USB-Hub zur Erweiterung eines einzigen USB-Ports
in mehrere Ports.
• I.T.E. Schaltnetzteil: Dieses Produkt ist für I.T.E. (Informationstechnik) bestimmt.
• Verwenden Sie es nicht für andere Zwecke. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur
entsprechend den Anweisungen.
AUSPACKEN
Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und prüfen Sie den Lieferumfang
auf Vollständigkeit.
HINWEIS: Am Gerät können sich noch Staub oder Produktionsreste befinden.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Gerät wie unter „Reinigung“ beschrieben zu säubern.
INSTALLATION
• Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel mit einem USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers
oder N
otebooks.
• Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter I/O in die Stellung I. Die Betriebsanzeige
leuchtet grün.
• Der USB-Hub wird automatisch von den meisten Betriebssystemen erkannt.
Es ist keine Treiberinstallation erforderlich.
• Wenn der USB-Hub nicht von Ihrem Betriebssystem erkannt wird, muss
eventuell ein Systemupdate vorgenommen werden, um die notwendigen
Treiber zu installieren.
BETRIEB
• Verbinden Sie ein USB-Gerät mit einem freien USB-Port des USB-Hubs.
• Deaktivieren Sie externe Datenträger, bevor Sie diese vom USB- .nennert buH
Einige externe Datenträger können zu Systemabstürzen führen, wenn diese
ohne vorherige Deaktivierung im Betriebssystem getrennt werden.
• USB-Geräte werden im Infobereich der Taskleiste als kleines Kästchen
mit einem grünen Pfeil angezeigt (nur Microsoft-Betriebssysteme), z. B.
Wechseldatenträger wie USB-Sticks oder externe Festplatten. Bevor Sie
diese vom USB-Hub trennen, deaktivieren Sie sie mit einem Klick auf das
Symbol im Infobereich der Taskleiste.
• Für andere Betriebssysteme lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung für die
Deaktivierung externer Datenträger.
• Wird der USB-Hub nur über den Computer mit Strom versorgt, könnten
manche Geräte nicht einwandfrei funktionieren, da diese mehr Strom
verbrauchen (z. B. externe Festplatten). Verbinden Sie in diesem Fall das
mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil mit 5 V Gleichspannung und 2 A Stromstärke
(Ausgang) mit dem Anschluss des USB-Hubs. Bevor
Sie das Steckernetzteil
mit einer Steckdose verbinden, überprüfen Sie, dass die Netzspannung mit
der Spannung auf dem Typenschild Ihres Steckernetzteils übereinstimmt.
Bevor Sie das Steckernetzteil mit einer Steckdose verbinden oder aus einer
Steckdose ziehen, schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter immer in die Stellung O.
• Wenn Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter in die Stellung O schalten, werden alle
dass Sie externe Datenträger zuerst deaktivieren.
REINIGUNG
• Wischen Sie das Gehäuse des USB-Hubs nur mit einem leicht angefeuchteten
Tuch ab. Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel.

USB 1.1 UND USB 2.0 STANDARD
• Wird der USB-Hub an einen USB-Anschluss mit USB 1.1 Standard
angeschlossen, funktionieren alle an den USB-Hub angeschlossenen Geräte
nur mit niedriger Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit.
• Um immer die beste Übertragungsleistung zu erhalten, schließen Sie den
Hub immer an einen USB-Anschluss mit USB 2.0 Standard an.

Hinweis: Manche USB-Geräte müssen direkt an einen USB-Anschluss Ihres
Computers angeschlossen sein, um richtig zu funktionieren. Der Betrieb über

INTENDED USE
• This product is only intended as USB hub for expanding a single USB port
into several ports.
• I.T.E. Power Supply: This product is intended for I.T.E. use.
• Do not use it for other purposes. Use the device only according to directions.
UNPACKING
Remove all protective packaging material and check for completeness and
transport damage.
NOTE:
In case of any dust or production debris on the product, we recommend to
clean the device as described in chapter “Cleaning”.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. It contains
important information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance
advice.
• Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through improper use!
Follow all warnings on the appliance.

INSTALLATION
• Connect the USB-cable with a USB port of your computer.
• Switch the On-/Off switch I/O to the position I. The power indicator lights
green.
• The USB hub will be recognised by most of the operating systems
automatically. No driver installation needed.
• If the USB hub could not be recognised by your operating system, you might
have to make a system update in order to install the required driver.
OPERATION
• Connect a USB appliance to a free USB port of the USB hub.
• Deactivate external data storage before you disconnect them from the USB
hub. Some external data storages may cause the operating system to crash,
if they are not deactivated before removal.
• USB appliances are shown in the system tray part of the task bar as a small
box with green arrow (Microsoft operating systems only), like USB stick
removable storage media or external hard drives. Before disconnecting these
from the USB hub, deactivate them by clicking on the symbol in the system
tray of the task bar.
• For other operating systems please read the instruction manual on how to
disconnect external data storages.
• If the USB hub is powered by the computer, some appliances might not
work correctly because they require more power (e.g. external hard
drives). In this case connect the supplied power adaptor with 5V DC and
2A (output) to the power adaptor jack of the USB hub.
Before connecting
the power adaptor to a wall outlet, please check that the supply voltage is
the same as the voltage shown on the rating label of your power adaptor.
Before connecting or disconnecting the power adaptor to a wall outlet,
please always switch the On-/Off switch to the position O.
• If you switch the On-/Off switch to the position O, all connected devices
will be disconnected from your computer. Make sure to deactivate external
storage devices first.
CLEANING
• Wipe off the USB hub housing with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh
or abrasive detergents.
