4 | Charger Features
Allows you to charge two or four AA/AAA size nickel-metal hydride or nickel-cadmium batteries.
3. Automatic Charge Current Selection - Automatically selects the best charging current for each battery size.
4. Automatic Shut-Off ­A special circuit senses when battery is fully charged.

CHARGING OPERATION AA & AAA BATTERIES:
Insert 2 or 4 AA or AAA Ni-CD or

Ni-MH batteries into battery chambers, oriented according to the polarity symbols (+ or -) that are marked inside each chamber.
Pull out the flat AC plug 90 degrees, and

plug into a standard AC outlet.
The charging indictor lights will flash

before charging, then go solid red while charging.
When the batteries are fully charged, the

lights will go solid green.
When you are finished charging the

batteries, remove the flat AC plug from the AC outlet.

GENERAL CHARGING HINTS:
 It is normal for the batteries to
become warm while charging.
 Charge batteries in temperatures
between 32°F and 113°F (0°C and 45°C). Cold batteries cannot charge fully. If they are too warm, the batteries can lose their capacity to recharge.
 Do not charge batteries other than
those listed in this manual, and do not use procedures other than those described in this manual.
Note: If two level indicators are flashing, it is an indication that at least one of the
batteries needs to be replaced.

 Charge only Ni-CD or Ni-MH batteries
with this charger. Other types of batteries can burst, causing personal injury and damage.
 Unplug the charger from the AC outlet
before attempting maintenance or cleaning.
 Do not disassemble the charger. Take
it to a qualified service technician when service or repair is required. Improper assembly may result in the risk of electric shock or fire.
 Do not use any attachment not
recommended or sold by Watson, as this could result in the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

This Watson product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider's responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider's discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function. This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance.
