Temperature Control
• The FLUENT heater should not be powered unless fluid
flow is present.
• The integrated Type K thermocouple is mounted on the
heating element and should only be used as a high limit
sensor with a latching limit control.
• The maximum limit temperature setting is 350°C. A lower
setting may be applicable and provide improved product
protection.
• Fluid temperature sensing must be accomplished by a
downstream sensor.
Minimum High Limit Circuit Requirements
NO

NC
• Do not apply more than the recommended voltage
marked on the FLUENT heater.
• Grounding to any of the exterior metal components is
recommended.
• A heater with multiple heating circuits should have the
circuits connected in parallel and must be powered
simultaneously.
