1. Important Safety Instructions
Your Safety and the safety of others is very important. We have provided many important safety measures in your manual and on your appliance.
Always read and obey all safety measures.
This is the safety alert symbol
All safety measures will follow the safety alert symbol and the word “DANGER” or “WARNING”
These words mean:
You can be seriously injured if you don’t immediately follow instructions.
All safety measures will inform you of potential hazards, how to reduce
the chance of injury and what can happen if the instructions are not
followed.
2. Important Safety Tips
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed to prevent the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons or property. Read all instructions before using any appliance.
- Do not operate this or any other appliance that has a damaged cord. Connect to properly polarised outlets only. No other appliance should be plugged into the same outlet. Ensure that the plug is fully inserted into the electrical wall socket.

- Do not touch the evaporator or evaporator rods while the ice maker is on or during the ice making process. This may cause severe burns.
- Do not run cord over carpeting or other heat insulators. DO NOT cover the cord. Keep cord away from high traffic areas, and do not submerge
in water.
- We do not recommend the use of an extension cord, as it may overheat and become a fire hazard.
- Unplug the ice maker before cleaning or making repairs.
- Exercise caution and use reasonable supervision when appliance is used near children.
- Do not clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
- Do not tip over
- If the ice maker is brought in from outside in winter, give it a few hours to warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
- The Ice Maker is NOT a freezer and therefore cannot be used to store ice. Ice will be held in the Ice Basket and if not used will melt back into the Water Reservoir to be re-used. To store ice that has been produced, please remove the ice from the Ice Basket and store in a regular freezer.
CAUTION: Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this bag away from babies and children.
