Conservare l’aspiratore in luogo asciutto e pulito.

END OF LIFE BATTERY DISPOSAL - EN
The maintenance free, Lithium Ion battery in your Pool Blaster must be properly disposed of in accordance to State and local law.
To conrm if recycling is required; contact your local authority for information.
WARNING!
• Never attempt to disassemble a battery pack.
1. Remove all personal items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches when unwiring a pack from the vacuum unit.
2. A battery can produce a short circuit current high enough to weld a ring (or like item) to metal causing a severe burn.
3. Wear complete eye protection, gloves and protective clothing when removing the battery pack.
4. Take care not to touch wires together or allow them to contact any metal items, which would cause sparking and/or short
circuit the battery.
5. Never smoke or allow a spark or ame in the vicinity of the battery or the cleaner. Batteries can generate gases which could
possibly ignite.
6. Do not expose to re or intense heat as this may result in an explosion.
CAUTION!
• If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged battery in a plastic bag.
7. If acid comes in contact with skin and clothing, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water.
8. If acid comes in contact with eyes, immediately ood eye with running cool water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention immediately.
How to remove the battery
• Recommended tools (not included): Philips screwdriver, wire-cutters, electrical tape.
1. Using a Philips screwdriver, separate the shells by unscrewing the screws on each side of the unit. See rst image.
2. Take o󰀨 the motor box cover by using a Philips screwdriver and unscrewing the screws. See second image.
3. Unscrew the 2 screws shown in the third image.
4. Pop out the ON/OFF switch and unscrew the screw as shown in the fourth image.
5. Take o󰀨 the battery cover by unscrewing the screws as shown in the fth image.
6. Take the battery out, using the wire-cutters, cut the wires near the battery. Finally wrap the wire ends with electrical tape.
