• If the Pik Po cket® tip (not included in al l models) separates f rom the sha for any reaso n, discard tip and sha  and replace with new Pi k Pocket® tip (PP-100E).
• Do not use thi s product for more tha n 5 minutes in each two -hour period.
• Unit will sh ut o automatically a er 5 minutes of continuous usage.

Powering the Unit
Plug the cor d into an electrical ou tlet. If the outle t is controlled by a wall sw itch, be sure it is turn ed on.
Preparing the Reservoir
Li the res ervoir lid, remove t he reservoir, and ll with l ukewarm water. Replace the reservo ir over the base and pre ss down rmly and, cl ose the lid.
Inserting and Removing Tips
Insert t ip into the center of the Water F losser handle, pres sing down rmly until t he tip clicks i nto place. The colored r ing will be ush with t he top of the handle if the t ip is correc tly locked into place. To remove t ip from the handle push t he tip eject butto n on the handle.
Prime Unit (First Time Use Only)
Set pressu re control dial on base to pr essure setting No.10, po int the handle and tip into sink. Turn powe r and water ON until water  ows from the tip. Turn Power OFF.
Adjusting the Pressure Setting
Turn the pressure c ontrol dial on the base o f the unit to the lowest s etting for rst­time use. Gr adually increase pre ssure over time to the set ting you prefer – or as
instructed by your dental professional.
Using the Water Flosser
Always place the tip in your mouth before turning the unit ON. Lean over sink and s lightly close l ips. Turn power ON. Al low water to ow from your mouth into the sink.
For best re sults, start wi th back teeth and work to ward the front teeth. Dire ct the strea m at a 90-degree an gle to your gumline wit h tip in mouth. Glide t ip along gumline an d pause briey bet ween teeth. Contin ue until you have clean ed the inside and outsi de of both the upper an d lower teeth.
Clean Mode
When the p ower is initially turn ed on, the Clean mod e indicator light will tu rn on and remain on for ap proximately 30 sec onds before turning o.
When Finished
Turn the power OF F. Em pty any liquid le in th e reservoir. Unplug the u nit. Note: If you use d mouthwash or other so lution besides wat er, see “Usi ng
Mouthwash and Other Solutions” section.

Pik Pocket™ Tip
The Pik Poc ket™ tip is specically designed to deliver water or anti-bacterial solutio ns deep into periodon tal pockets.
To use the Pik Pocket™ t ip, set the unit to the lowest pressure setting. Place the so tip a gainst a tooth at a 45 -degree angle and ge ntly place the tip und er the gumline, into t he pocket.
Tongue Cleaner Tip
Set to lowes t pressure setting , place tip in the center/middle of yo ur tongue about half way ba ck. Pull forward wit h light pressure. Incre ase pressure as you prefer.
Orthodontic Tip
To use the ortho dontic tip, gently g lide tip along gumlin e, pausing briey to lig htly brush area b etween teeth and all aro und orthodont ic bracket, before proce eding to the next t ooth.
Plaque Seeker™ Tip
To use the Plaque S eeker™ tip, place the ti p close to the teeth so th at the bristles are gently tou ching the teeth. Gent ly glide tip along gum line, pausing brie y between teeth to gent ly brush and allow the wa ter to ow between the t eeth.

Using Mouthwash and Other Solutions
Your Waterpik® Water Flosser can be used to deliver mouthwash and antibacterial solutio ns. Aer using any specia l solution, rinse u nit to prevent clogging by p artially lling reservoir with warm water and running unit with tip pointed into sink until unit is empty.
Cleaning
Before clea ning, unplug from the e lectrical outl et. Clean the produ ct when necessar y by using a so cl oth and mild non-ab rasive cleanser.
The water res ervoir is removabl e for easy cleaning and i s top rack dishwasher safe.
