SUBJECT: LED Light Kits Wiring Information

1. 4” Round Stop/Turn/Tail Light – Includes a 3 wire plug in connector with pigtail wires
Ground = White
Turn/Stop Positive = Red
Tail Light Positive = Black

2. Recommend 6ohm/50watt resistor for blinker wire to eliminate fast blinkers. Our part #2905 Load resistor kit will
cure this issue. Do not install load resistor kit on any light circuit that has a constant “ON” such as a marker light.
Constant voltage to the resistors will create excessive heat. It is safe to use on turn/stop light circuits

3. 2” Round Amber or Clear Light – Includes 2 wire plug in connector with pigtail wires. Note: The plug is reversible
on this light, but the lights are marked positive and negative as well, and will only work one way. You will not
damage it if plugged in backwards. Simply reverse the plug.
Ground = White
Positive = Brown

07-10 JK Wrangler Specific:

1. Remove both stock taillights and cut off the two bulbs as shown below. Strip back the 5 wires on the now lo ose
plug where the bulbs were cut off

2. Connect your LED light wires to this harness. Below are the wires to join

JK Harness 4” Tail Light Pigtail

Purple/White Black (Tail Marker)
Black White (Ground)
Yellow/White Red (Turn/Stop Marker)

JK Harness 2” Reverse Light Pigtail

Green/White Brown (Positive)
Black White (Ground)
