ALUMINUM HALF DOOR INSERT PANEL

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WAR 90755

1976 – 1995 JEEP CJ7- YJ WRANGLER

Read all instructions before proceeding.

1. Remove inner “grab handle”.

2. Remove the top half of the door. Remove the three plastic upper support sleeves on the

top of the door.

3. Remove inner door panel using a long screwdriver to pry plastic panel off of the door.

4. Remove the screw (top outer corner) holding the rubber corner molding.

5. Place aluminum panel next to the door and attach using screw, removed in #4 above,

through hole in top outer corner. At this time, mark all of the holes through the panel
for drilling.

6. Remove the panel from the door. If you are going to use the “pop” rivets supplied, drill

the holes using a 3/16” drill bit. You may use sheet metal screws, if preferred, instead
of the pop rivets. Be sure to use the appropriate drill size for the screws used.

7. Install your new Warrior aluminum inner panel using the pop rivets provided, or sheet

metal screws.

8. Install plastic upper support sleeves. They may need some trimming.

9. Install the upper half door. Reinstall the grab handle removed earlier, or use Warrior

Products’ optional aluminum grab handle (part # WAR 90756).
