07-09 JK 2” Coil Spring Spacer Lift
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Front Installation
1. To begin installation, block the rear tires of the vehicle so that the vehicle is stable and can’t roll backward. Safely lift the front of the vehicle and support the frame with a pair of jack stands. Place a jack stand on both the driver and the passenger side. Next, remove the front wheels and tires from both sides.
2. Place a hydraulic floor jack under the front differential centering the jack on the axle. Carefully raise jack until you’ve put slight pressure on the axle.
3. Remove the lower mounting hardware that connects the stock sway bar end link to the stock lower bracket that is attached to the front axle. Save the stock hardware for later re-installation. Let the stock sway bar hang.
4. Remove the stock mounting hardware that connects the stock shock into the stock lower mount. Save the stock hardware for later re-installation. There is no need to remove the shock completely from the vehicle unless you are installing new shocks. Otherwise keep the stock shock mounted to the stock upper mounting location. Carefully lower down the floor jack until the front coil springs can be removed. Remove the stock coil spring. Set aside for later reinstallation. Make sure to keep the driver and passenger side coil springs separated so that they can be re-installed to the same side they came out of.
5. Slide the factory rubber spring isolator off of the stock bump stop cup, slide coil spring spacer on in its place. For 2” lift, do not re-install the isolator. For 2.5” lift, install isolator after coil spring spacer. We recommend using the stock isolator on any vehicle with an aftermarket bumper or a winch to ensure a more level stance.
6. Install the driver side coil spring into the stock location. Repeat procedure on the passenger side. Carefully raise jack until the stock coil springs seat properly into the upper and lower locations. Ensure that the end of the coil on the bottom is in the notch in the spring bucket.
7. Install the stock shocks into the stock lower mounting location and secure using the stock hardware. Make sure to use thread locker or loc-tite and torque to 65 ft lbs.
8. Install the stock front sway bar end link into the stock lower mounting location and secure using the stock hardware. Make sure to use thread locker or loc-tite and torque to 45 ft lbs.
9. Carefully remove hydraulic floor jack from under the vehicle.
10. Check and double check to make sure that all steps for the front end were performed properly and then check again.
11. Install the tires and wheels and carefully lower the vehicle to the ground.
Rear Installation
1. To begin installation, block the front tires of the vehicle so that the vehicle is stable and can’t roll forward. Safely lift the rear of the vehicle and support the frame with a pair of jack stands. Place a jack stand on both the driver and the passenger side. Next, remove the rear wheels and tires from both sides.
2. Place a hydraulic floor jack under the center of the rear axle. Carefully raise jack until there is slight pressure on the rear axle.
3. Remove the stock mounting hardware that connects the stock shocks into the stock lower mounts. Save the stock hardware for later re-installation. There is no need to remove the shock completely from the vehicle unless you are installing new shocks. Otherwise keep the stock shock mounted to the stock upper mounting location.
4. Remove the lower mounting hardware that connects the stock sway bar end links to the stock lower bracket that is attached to the rear axle. Save the stock hardware for later re-installation. Let the stock sway bar hang.

5. Remove the stock bolt holding the stock brake line brackets to the side of the stock frame rail. Save the stock bolt for later re-installation.
6. Carefully remove the stock ABS line clips from the bottom side of the stock frame rail. Take special care not to damage the ABS line clips during removal. This will need to be reinstalled back into the same hole at a later step.
7. Carefully lower floor jack until the rear coil springs can be removed. Remove the stock coil spring. Set the stock coil spring aside for later re-installation. The stock upper isolator can be removed as well. Make sure to keep the driver and passenger side coil springs separate from each other. You need to make sure that the driver side coil spring gets installed back into the vehicle on the driver side and the same with the passenger side.
8. Place the stock isolators on top of the stock coil springs and the new rear coil spring spacers on top of the stock coil isolator. Install the stock coil spring and new rear coil spring spacer back into the stock location. Carefully raise floor jack until the stock coil springs and spacer seat properly into the upper and lower locations. It is strongly recommended that you add our lower coil retainer kit (call for details) if you are frequently using your Jeep off-road.
9. Carefully push the stock ABS clips back into the bottom side of the stock frame rail. Take care not to damage the stock ABS clips during installation.
10. Re-install the stock brake line brackets to the side of the stock frame rail using the stock hardware.
