USE ONLY
In case of any maintenance operations or repairs not specifically stated
in this manual, please refer to a qualified service center recommended
by Waring.
Always read the instructions for use carefully before using, and keep them

UNPACkING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the box on a large, sturdy, flat surface.
2. Remove the instruction book and any other literature.
3. Slide the packaged unit out of the box.
4. Remove the Styrofoam inserts.

5. Carefully lift the Waring Pro
remaining inserts and remove the rubber guards from slicing blade
area. We suggest you save all the packing materials in the event that
future shipping of the machine is needed.

USE AND CARE
1. To use your Waring Pro® Electric Food Slicer, place on sturdy,
flat surface.
2. Check that the switch is turned off before plugging in
the appliance.
3. Adjust the slice control knob to desired slicing thickness

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug your Waring Pro® Electric Food Slicer and turn the Slice
Control Knob back to zero before cleaning the appliance. DO NOT PUT THE APPLIANCE IN WATER. This could cause damage to
electrical parts.
1. Fold out food carriage away from the base for easy cleaning of
crumbs, seeds, etc.
2. Wipe unit with a warm damp cloth.
3. Turn Slice Control Knob to zero and wipe down blade faceplate
with soap and water. Rinse with ammonia and water.
4. Dry immediately.
STAINLESS STEEL bLADE
To remove, insert a nickel or quar ter in center hub and turn clockwise.
Carefully lift blade. With a soft sponge or cleaning cloth, clean both sides
of blade with mild soap and water. To replace, align blade with drive gears
so it fully engages. Turn slot counterclockwise to tighten.

Waring warrants that this appliance’s motor shall be free from defects
in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of
purchase. All other components are warranted for a period of one year
from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover any misuse, abuse,
or commercial use, or incidental or consequential damages. Some states
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
If your appliance fails to operate properly while in use under normal
household conditions within the warranty period, send the complete
appliance prepaid to Waring
Grasso Avenue, Torrington, CT 06790 or any Waring
Center. If the appliance is found by Waring to be defective in material
or workmanship, Waring will repair or replace it free of charge. When
sending your appliance to Waring, include a note giving your name,
address, phone number, the model number, reason for return, date
purchased and where purchased. Allow three to four weeks for
shipping and servicing time.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY
California law provides that for In-Warranty Service, California residents
have the option of returning a nonconforming product (a) to the store
where it was purchased or (b) to another retail store which sells Waring
Consumer Products of the same type. The retail store shall then decide
to either repair the product, refer the consumer to an independent repair
facility, replace the product, or refund the purchase price less the amount
directly attributable to the consumer’s prior usage of the product. If the
above options do not result in the appropriate relief to the consumer,
the consumer may then take the product to an independent repair
facility if service or repair can be economically accomplished. Waring
and not the consumer will be responsible for the reasonable cost of
such service, repair, replacement, or refund for nonconforming products
under warranty.
California residents may also, according to their preference, return
nonconforming products directly to Waring for repair, or, if necessary,
replacement, by calling our Customer Service Center toll-free at
1-800-492-7464. Waring will be responsible for the cost of the repair,
replacement, and shipping and handling for such nonconforming products
