PLAINSMAN
Power – Power supply is activated by an
external 9VDC power supply. The Plainsman requires 20 mA current draw. (Note:
The Walrus Audio Aetos Isolated Power
supply will power this pedal from the any
current outputs)
Volume – Controls output level
Tone – Allows specific control of high
end/treble frequencies that are included in
your final signal output. Turn clockwise to
increase the amount of high end/treble
frequencies and turn counterclockwise to
decrease the amount of high end/treble
frequencies.
Decibel Toggle – Use in up position to
allow your max output to be eight decibels
louder than your original (unity) signal.
Use in down position to allow your max
output to be fifteen decibels louder than
your original (unity) signal.

Thank you for purchasing the Walrus
Audio Plainsman JFET Dual Stage
Clean Boost. This pedal will increase
the volume of your instrument signal
when employed. The Plainsman was
designed to raise your signal volume
without adding overdrive to your
sound. The left toggle will give you
the option to choose whether your
maximum volume possible is an 8
decibel increase or 15 decibel
increase from your existing volume.
The right toggle allows you to run
your signal through the tone control
or bypass it completely. The volume
control allows you to pick a signal
between zero decibels and 8/15
decibels past your unity volume
Tone Toggle – Use in the up position to
run your signal through the tone control.
Use in the down position to bypass the
tone control.
Input Jack – This is the main input for
your instrument into the unit and requires a
¼ inch plug.
Output Jack – This is your signal out to
the rest of your effect chain or amplifier.
On/Off True Bypass Switch - Push
down to turn the pedal on and off. In
effect mode, the LED will be on. In
bypass, the LED will be off.
