Battery Insertion
The Hybrid Duo uses a standard size #10A battery.

IMPORTANT: For hearing protection from sudden or sustained loud noises, the solid
plug must be worn.
Each foam plug comes in three different sizes: Small, Medium and Large. Choosing the
correct size is a matter of personal fit and comfort.
Replacement foam tips are available from Walker’s: 877-269-8490.
Attaching the Tip to the Hybrid Duo
• Select which size tip, Small, Medium or Large
• Push the Hybrid Duo into the center of the of the foam tip, push with gentle force so
the snap-lock mechanism securely engages
• Slowly pull the Hybrid Duo up, with the foam tip attached
Precautions:
• Do not insert in your ear unless the foam tip is firmly attached to the Hybrid Duo
• Stop using the Hybrid Duo if ear canal becomes uncomfortably irritated
• Do not use with a draining ear
Removing the Tip from the Hybrid Duo
• Place the Hybrid Duo in the notch on the foam tip
package
• Gently pull back and the tip will come off
• Discard used foam tip - do not try to reattach a tip that
has been removed
• Keep foam tips out of reach of children
• To insert, remove adhesive sticker. Any moisture on the battery surface should be
wiped off prior to insertion. Open the battery door and insert the battery.
• To remove the battery, open the battery door and lift the battery out of the battery
door.
Low Battery Indicator: When your battery is low you will hear five beeps
indicating that it is time to change your battery.
Caution: Keep batteries out of reach of children or anyone who may accidentally
swallow them. Never put batteries in your mouth for any reason. Do not store
batteries in medication containers or where they may possible by mistaken for
medication and accidentally swallowed. Never attempt to recharge nonrechargeable batteries.
Choosing the Right Tip
Your Hybrid Duo can be worn three ways:
Tip Situation
No Tip Quiet environments only
Vented ‘Star’ Shaped Foam Tip Everyday environments where hearing
protection is not required
Solid ‘Circular’ Shaped Foam Tip Any environment where hearing protec-
tion is required
On/Off and Volume Adjustment
On & Off: The Hybrid Duo is turned on and off by either opening/closing the battery
compartment or by turning the volume control past the lowest setting.
Volume Adjustment: Adjust the volume level of the Hybrid Duo by rotating the
volume control up for louder volume and down for softer volume. When adjusting the
volume control, you will hear a single beep when the volume level is at mid-point.
Program Selection
The Hybrid Duo has 4 programs:

1. General Everyday Use
2. Crowds Restaurants/Sporting Events/Large Meetings
3. Music/Theater Concerts/Cinema
4. Nature Outside/Birdwatching/Hunting
When first turned on, the Hybrid Duo defaults to #1, the
General program. To change between programs, hold the
program wand next to your ear. You will hear a series of
beeps as you change programs: one beep: program # 1,
two beeps: program # 2, etc.
Caring for Your Hybrid Duo
The Hybrid Duo is a delicate, precision electronic device and as such, requires the special care and handling that would be afforded
to any fine piece of equipment. Please read and follow the listed precautions to insure quality per formance:
• Remove your batteries when your device will not be in use for prolonged periods of time.
• Do not throw or drop your device.
• Do not immerse device in liquid or water.
• Do not wear device during bathing, showering, or swimming.
• Do not expose device to excessive heat, such as a stove top, microwave, dash board of a hot car, or a hair dryer.
• Do not expose the device to chemicals, such as hair spray, insect repellent, perfume, or cosmetics.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Walker’s warrants this product to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and conditions for a period of
two years parts/90 days labor from the date of the original purchase.
Under this warranty, this unit will be replaced or repaired at our option, without charge for parts or labor, excluding batteries, for a period of 90 days after the purchase.
After 90 days, the cost of labor with Shipping/Handling and Insurance of $99.95 is the customer’s responsibility.
This warranty is void if any of the following occur:
1. The warranty card was not sent in at the time or purchase
2. The unit is not owned by the original purchaser at the time of the warranty claim
3. The unit has been tampered with, opened or punctured
4. The unit has been immersed in water or other liquids, allowed to be filled with dirt or dust, or otherwise physically abused
5. The 24-month limited warranty has expired
This shall be the exclusive written warranty of the original purchaser and neither this warranty or any other warranty, expressed or implied, shall extend beyond the
24-month period listed above. In no event shall Walker’s Game Ear, Inc. be liable for consequential damages, consequential property damage, or consequential personal
injury. (Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of consequential damages, so that these restrictions may not apply to you). This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
