Dear Client,
Congratula tions on buyin g a light produced by WALDI and you made a good c hoice! Nevertheless,
for your own security we recommend to caref ully read this manual.
Mounting hints:
1. The light is provided fo r a ceiling-m ounting in dr y rooms.
2. The light is provided fo r a permanent mountin g. It may be fastened on normal in fl ammable sur faces.
3. We recommend to ask a trained electrician to perform the connection ( VDE 0100).
4. When mounting the light, make s ure that the power cord is stress free (switch “ou t”, fuse “out”).
5. The light is fi xed by screws in case of mountin g into wood and in c ase you are mounting into stone
you have to use dowels.
6. Be sure n ot to squash the lines when mounting.
Mounting:
1. Fix the lamph older with screws to the ceiling , if necessary use dowels (not part of deliver y) (fi g.1)
Atten tion: Be sure that the light has the right posit ion under the ceiling, because after you screwed it on
the holder, you cannot turn it anymore
2. Put the protective contac tor (yellow/green lead) u nder the screw at t he ceiling fastening and
tigh ten the screw (see fi g. 1).
3. Connect it to t he electric al network (fi g. 2). The supplied terminal is to be used for the mains connecti on.
4. After you completed the connectio n, put the supplied cover on the luster terminals.
5. Put th e ceiling ligh t with its middle-hole on the threaded rod of t he ceiling mount.
6. Turn the end-button on the thread of t he ceiling mount.
Remarks LED-fairy lights
1. Before use, please check t hat every LED bulb is comp letely and fi rmly plugged into the socket.
2. Before replacing a faulty L ED bulb, make sure that the lamp is stress free (switch „out“, fuse „out“)
3. Immediatel y, replace a fault y LED bulb by a new one of the same volta ge and the same wa ttage. Otherwise, t he voltage will increase at the
other bulbs whi ch may cause overheating.
General information
1. Only t he bulbs speci fi ed may be used in the l ight ( Fig. 3 ).
2. For safety reasons, no other decorative parts may be at tached to the light.
3. To clean t he light we recommend that you wip e it with a dry or slightly damp c loth. Please ensure th at you do not push the cloth into
the light fi tting. Before c leaning the light, please make sure that it has been switched off. If you are using a slightly damp cloth,
please dry the light before switching the light back on again .
4. The light ser ves only for decoration purposes and is not s uited as a child’s toy.
5. Please keep these i nstructions in a safe place for later reference.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for injuries or damage which are a result of the incorrect use or connection of the lamp.
In the case of doubt, please consult a qualifi ed electrician.
