IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be observed including the following.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE AND INJURY
1. Before use, check that the voltage of your wall outlet corresponds to that shown on the dataplate of the appliance.
2. Do not place the appliance near a heat source or in a hot oven, as serious damage may occur.
3. Never leave the appliance in operation unattended.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly or if it has been dropped, damaged or immersed in water. Return the appliance to WAHL (UK) LTD, for examination and repair.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse the unit or let it come into contact with water or any other liquids. Do not use the unit with wet hands.
