Thank you for purchasing the Travel Charge™ DC Link™ by Wagan Tech®. With
normal care and proper treatment it will provide years of reliable service. Please
read all operating instructions carefully before use.

EXPAND YOUR EXISTING SINGLE LIGHTER PLUG

The DC Link™ supplies 1 DC socket and 2 USB power ports, allowing you to use
your car vehicle accessory socket to charge more than one mobile device at
the same time. Now you can charge your mobile phone, digital camera, MP3
player, or iPad® while on the go.

tablets, and smartphones.

OPERATION

1. Insert the DC plug into vehicle's 12V or 24V car cigarette lighter socket.

2. LED indicators illuminate if input power is present.

3. Connect the device you wish to power into one of the USB ports or DC
socket. Output power depends on the device's needs, but is limited to 2.4A
shared for USB power and the original voltage of your vehicle's cigarette
lighter socket for the DC extension. Power expansion chart below estimates
possible charge combinations.

4. Remove the adapter from the car cigarette lighter when not in use as some
systems may still provide power to the socket when the car is powered off.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Tablet PC or smartphone does not charge.

Disconnect them from the USB ports and check the LED indicator and fuse.
My Samsung tablet will not charge.

Samsung tablets require a different charging configuration. This unit is not
compatible with Samsung tablets.

My USB device keeps dropping in and out of charge mode.
This indicates that the DC Link™ is overheating. Make sure air vents on top of the
DC Link™ are clear and the unit is not exposed to direct heat either by direct sun
or heater vents. Reduce the temperature and check again.

No lights are on and there is no output power.
Check the fuse in the cigarette lighter plug by removing the cap on the DC plug.

Only the 12V/24V power indicator light is not on.
The low voltage protection feature shuts off power to the DC socket when your
vehicle battery voltage is low (below 11.0V). Have your battery checked by your
mechanic.

Use your DC Link™ in your home! AC/DC adapter accessory is also available
(Item #9903).

The WAGAN Corporation warranty is limited to products sold only in
the United States.

Warranty Duration:

Product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year from the
original purchase date, to be free of defects in material and workmanship. WAGAN
Corporation disclaims any liability for consequential damages. In no event will
WAGAN Corporation be responsible for any amount of damages beyond the amount
paid for the product at retail.

Warranty Performance:
During the warranty period, a product with a defect will be replaced with a
comparable model when the product is returned to WAGAN Corporation with an
original store receipt. WAGAN Corporation will, at its discretion, replace or repair
the defective part. The replacement product will be warranted for the balance of the
original warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any units which have been
used in violation of written instructions furnished.

or person is authorized to assume any other liability in connection with the sale of our
products. There shall be no claims for defects or failure of performance or product
failure under any theory of tort, contract or commercial law including,but not limited
to negligence, gross negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, and breach of
contract.

"Customer Care" page for instructions on how to process a warranty claim. WAGAN
Corporation is not responsible for any item(s) returned without an official Return
Authorization number (RA#).
