AIR COMPRESSOR OPERATION
WARNING: Do not run the air compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time. Longer run times may cause the air compressor to overheat. We recommend 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off. Let the unit have breaks to prolong its use.
1. To achieve optimal performance, when operating your air compressor, your vehicle’s engine should be running.
2. Unwind power cord from around base of unit and plug the air compressor’s power cord into the 12-volt cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle.
3. Pull out hose from compartment.
4. Place quick connect chuck over valve stem of tire with thumb lever in the vertical position.
5. Push down firmly and lock into place by pressing thumb lever to horizontal position.
6. Turn compressor’s switch on (to the "|" position) and monitor pressure using the built-in pressure gauge. DO NOT OVERINFLATE
PRODUCTS BEYOND THE MANUFACTURER’S RECOMMENDATIONS.
NOTE: If tire is completely deflated, it is possible that the seal between the tire and the rim could be broken, allowing air to leak out when trying to inflate. This usually happens only on completely flat tires. In the event this situation occurs, you will have to jack up your car prior to inflating the tire.
