• Before using this unit, read and understand all instructions included in this manual also those published by your vehicle’s battery manufacturer and the manual of any other device intended to be used with this unit. Failure to follow all listed instructions may result in electric shock, ﬁre, and/or serious personal injury.

• Make sure the battery bank is fully charged before ﬁrst use.

GENERAL WARNINGS

• This appliance is NOT intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

• Children or persons lacking in experience and knowledge also should NOT operate this appliance unless he/she has been given supervision or instruction concerning the proper usage and warnings of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• For proper and safe operation of any accessory outlet, do not place anything in it except the plug of the accessory to be used.

• Use only the charging adapters and jumpstarting clamps provided in this package. Unauthorized parts may damage the unit.

• Wear complete eye and clothing protection when jumpstarting a vehicle. Do not touch eyes while working with battery.

• Remove metal, personal jewelry, such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches while working with a vehicle battery. These items can produce a short-circuit that may cause severe burns.

• Do not operate this unit in or around water. Exposure to excessive moisture will damage the unit.

• Dropping, hitting, or otherwise applying excessive amounts of force to the battery bank may damage the unit. This could result in loss of operation, electrical ﬁre, or other undesired outcome.

CHARGING THE BATTERY BANK

This product may arrive partially charged from the manufacturer� It is recommended to fully charge the unit immediately after purchase and before using for the first time� Prior to charging the unit, read and understand all instructions in this manual�

In order to prolong the life of the battery bank, be sure to fully recharge the unit every 3 to 6 months, even if the battery bank has not been used.

WARNING

• Only use the charging adapters supplied with this unit!

• Do not charge the unit-on a boat, boat ramp, or dock since the electrical cords and outlets used for charging could cause severe electrical shock if they get wet.

AC Charging

1. Insert AC charging adapter into charging jack of the unit.

2. Plug the other end of AC charging adapter into a wall socket. The blue charging LED indicator will be illuminated while the unit is charging.

3. Fully charge the unit (average 2-4 hours continuously between uses).

4. When charging is complete, the four LEDs should be lit up. Unplug the AC charging adapter from the wall socket ﬁrst, then from the charging jack on the unit.

DC Charging in Your Vehicle

Engine must be running while charging the battery bank�

1. Turn the vehicle engine on.

2. Insert the DC charging adapter into the charging jack of the unit. The blue charging LED indicator will be illuminated while the unit is charging.

3. Plug the other end of DC charging adapter into vehicle’s cigarette lighter (DC) socket.

4. Fully charge the unit (around 3-5 hours continuous). Engine must running during entire charge.

5. When charging is completed, the four LEDs should be lit up. Unplug the DC charging adapter from the vehicle ﬁrst, then from the charging jack on the unit.

JUMPSTARTER

WARNING

Failure to follow these instructions may cause damage or explosion�

• Jumpstart connection is ALWAYS live! Never allow the clamps to touch together or contact the same piece of metal.

• Do not attempt to jumpstart your vehicle when battery bank is below 20% charge (observe battery status indicator lights on the unit).

• Only use with positive grounded systems.

• Do not reverse jumper cables.

• Use safety glasses to protect eyes while jumpstarting a battery.

• If the engine fails to start after two attempts, discontinue jumpstart procedure. Excessive engine cranking can damage the vehicle’s starter motor. Look for other problems that may need to be corrected or call for professional service.

• Disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery immediately after engine starts. Return the cable clamps to their storage holsters when not in use.

• Vehicles equipped with on-board computers may be affected if the engine battery is jumpstarted. Read your vehicle owner’s manual before attempting to start the vehicle to determine if external starting assistance can be used.

• If the battery bank is overloaded while in the jumpstart mode, quickly disconnect the clamps and let the unit rest for ten minutes then plug it into a power source for a few minutes to reset the unit. All functions on the battery bank will not operate until this is done.

Procedure

1. Turn off the vehicle ignition and all accessories (radios, lights, air conditioners), and disconnect electronic devices.

2. Set the emergency brake and put vehicles with automatic transmission in park position.

3. Determine the polarity of the vehicle’s battery terminals. The positive (POS, P, +) battery terminal usually is red and larger in diameter than the negative (NEG, N, −) terminal. If you are unsure, ﬁrst refer to the vehicle owner’s manual.

4. Remove clamps from the holders. Never allow clamps (positive & negative terminals) to touch together or contact the same piece of metal to prevent short-circuits and arcing. Insert the blue plug of the jumper cables into the battery bank’s jumper terminal.

5. Securely connect the positive (+) red clamp to the positive (POS, P, +) terminal of the vehicle battery or the remote positive (+) terminal if equipped.

6. Securely connect the negative (−) black clamp to the negative terminal.

7. Check to see if the cables are connected correctly, the cable indicator should light up green. If the Green LED does not light up, check for a short circuit and/or incorrect terminal connection. If the cables are connected correctly and the LED still doesn’t light up, press the manual activation button and it should light up. If at any time during operation the LED starts blinking or turns off, an overload has occurred and the unit should be removed immediately. The cable indicator must be lit in order to proceed with jumpstarting.

8. Place unit on a secure surface away from moving parts.

9. Start vehicle engine. Stop if the vehicle does not start after 4 to 5 seconds of engine cranking. Disconnect the cables and wait 3 to 4 minutes, then try again. If engine does not start after second attempt, discontinue and consult a professional.

10. When ﬁnished, disconnect the clamps in reverse sequence of connecting procedure—ﬁrst disconnect negative (black), then positive (red) clamps.

USING THE USB SOCKET

1. Connect the USB device to the battery bank with either a user-supplied cable or the included 4-in-1 USB adapter.

2. When your mobile device is fully charged, disconnect your device from the battery bank.

3. If the charge in the battery bank is low, the USB port will shut off to prevent damage to the battery bank. Recharge the battery bank as soon as possible.

LED FLASHLIGHT

The light will automatically shut off before the battery bank runs out of power.

1. Hold down the power button until the indicator lights turn on (~3 seconds).

2. Press once to switch lighting modes (second press will turn the light off).

3. Recharge battery as soon as possible.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

This unit may be stored in any position. Make sure the clamps are secure inside the booster cable storage covers and store at room temperature. If the battery bank is not used for a prolonged period of time, recharge every 2 months in the winter time and every month in the summer time.

PROPER DISPOSAL

• This product has no consumer serviceable parts.

• Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery used in this device. When the battery has reached the end of its lifetime, please take the entire unit to a battery recycling facility.
