Thank you for purchasing the Brite-Nite™ 2 Million LED Spotlight Lantern™ by Wagan Tech®. This spotlight has two output levels and an 18 LED area lantern.
With normal care and proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service. Please read all operating instructions carefully before use.

SAFETY GUIDELINES
Caution! The lens will become hot after prolonged use.
Do not cover lens while in use.
Do not use near flammable liquids, gasses or in high temperatures: the battery may explode.
Do not use the spotlight on the "HIGH" setting for more than 40 minutes consecutively. Allow to cool before reuse.
When the light begins to get dim, please stop use and charge immediately.

Do not charge the unit for more then 30 hours at a time.
Do not turn on while charging. Doing so may cause battery damage.
Do not use in water or wet conditions. Store in a clean, dry environment.
Keep out of reach of children.
Never stare directly into the light: doing so can cause eye damage.
Strong impacts may cause damage to the unit: please handle with care.
HOW TO USE
1. Use the Mode selector at the back of the light to choose "HIGH", "LOW" or "LED" mode.
2. If "LED" is selected, the LED lantern on the side will turn on.
3. If "HIGH" is selected, pull the Spotlight Power trigger to turn on the halogen light. Use the trigger lock to keep the spotlight running continuously.
4. If "LOW" is selected, pull the Spotlight Power trigger to turn on the halogen light. Use the trigger lock to keep the spotlight running continuously.
5. The unit will not turn off automatically: When the light output is low, turn off the spotlight and charge immediately to maintain the battery. Draining the battery too low will shorten battery life.
6. To prevent overheating, do not use the spotlight on the "HIGH" setting for more than 40 minutes consecutively. Allow to cool before reuse.

RECHARGING THE BATTERY
1. Slide the switch at the back to the "CHARGE" position, revealing the charging port.
2. Check the Battery Level Indicator LEDs at the back of the light to see the charge level while charging.
3. To use the home AC charger, insert the end of the charger into the spotlight charging socket, and plug the other end into an AC wall socket. Please be sure to use only with an outlet of the correct voltage.
4. Only charge with the supplied charging adapters.
5. Do not turn on spotlight while charging.
6. The battery will be fully charged about an hour after the green Battery Level Indicator light is lit. It takes roughly 8–10 hours to charge with the AC adapter, and 4–6 hours to charge with the DC adapter (estimated times: please see the Battery Level Indicator for actual charge level).
MAINTENANCE
Keep the spotlight clean and dry.
The lifespan of the internal battery depends on how well it is treated. It is advisable to recharge the spotlight after use, in order to extend battery life.
If not used for an extended period, please discharge the battery and recharge every 1 to 2 months. If it is not charged at all for more than 5 months, the battery may become damaged and unable to be charged any more.
Do not throw used batteries into the garbage can: Check with your local recycling center for proper disposal.

The WAGAN Corporation warranty is limited to products sold only in the United States.
Warranty Duration:
Product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date, to be free of defects in material and workmanship. WAGAN Corporation disclaims any liability for consequential damages. In no event will WAGAN Corporation be responsible for any amount of damages beyond the amount paid for the product at retail.
Warranty Performance:
During the warranty period, a product with a defect will be replaced with a comparable model when the product is returned to WAGAN Corporation with an original store receipt. WAGAN Corporation will, at its discretion, replace or repair the defective part. The replacement product will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any units which have been used in violation of written instructions furnished.
