INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Miniature Round Canopy
with Wiring Compartment - QMP-MI-TR

CAUTION:

• Always turn o power at fuse box prior to installation to prevent electrical shock.

• For installation by a qualied electrician.

OVERVIEW
The Mini Monopoint designed for use with all WAC QUICK CONNECT™ xtures and pendants (50 watts max). It is designed to
mount to ceilings or wood surfaces. It comes with it’s own wiring compartment, that will accept trade size connectors. The Mini
Monopoints require either a 12 or 24 volt remote mounted transformer.

1. Consult voltage drop guidelines below to
determine distance and wire gauge sizes

2. Cut out: 1 ¾”

3. Remove the metal ring and separate the canopy
from wiring compartment.

4. Remove the knock out from the top of the
wiring compartment.

5. Attach the wiring compartment to the surface
using screws provided.

6. Guide the secondary wires from the transformer through
the knock out in the wiring compartment.

7. Connect xture wires to transformer secondary wires,
with wire nuts (supplied). Tuck excess wire Into
the wiring compartment

8. Mount the canopy to the surface, and tighten the
metal ring to the quick connect tting

9. Install quick connect xture or pendant by inserting
quick connect post into tting and threading clockwise until snug.

Retain instructions for future reference.
