The tags fit the demands of the transportation industry and can also be used to track larger pieces of equipment and vehicles in work in progress (WIP) and warehouse asset tracking.

VP720 – provides customers with increased safety compliance, near real-time inventory,
increased security, visibility of asset utilization, operational intelligence, as well as temperature and humidity data.
VP730 – provides customers with increased safety compliance, near real-time inventory,
increased security, visibility of asset utilization, operational intelligence, as well as temperature, humidity, and light sensor data.
Tracking of Tags
Vypin tags are tracked using the Vypin application on the following devices: (iOS – 9.3 or newer), (Android – 4.4 or newer).

Installation Process
Customers should download the Vypin Overpass Mobile App and the Vypin Overpass Chill App using the instructions available within the Support & Knowledge Center on the company website (www.vypin.com).
Each of these tags can be placed on a customer’s asset without intruding on the external side of the container / asset. Following are the tools used to install the tag on the asset:
VP700 – magnet, self-adhesive, steel plate. VP710 – magnet, self-adhesive, steel plate. VP720 – magnet, self-adhesive, steel plate. VP730 – magnet, self-adhesive, steel plate.
Sync Tags with Vypin Applications
VP700 – There is no special sync needed. The Vypin OverPass Mobile App will need to
have gateway mode turned on, once activated the gateway will provide tag info to the cloud. The following steps should be used to turn on gateway mode on the Vypin OverPass Mobile App: (1) Open the App, (2) Press the setting button, (3) Tap the toggle next to Gateway Mode to turn it on. Once done, the Vypin OverPass Mobile app will start to provide tag info to the cloud via the mobile internet connection.
VP710, VP720, VP730 – There is no special sync needed. The Vypin OverPass Mobile App
will need to have gateway mode turned on, once activated the gateway will provide tag info to the cloud. The following steps should be used to turn on gateway mode on the Vypin OverPass Mobile App: (1) Open the App, (2) Press the setting button, (3) Tap the toggle next to Gateway Mode to turn it on. Once done, the Vypin OverPass Mobile app will start to provide tag location and battery to the cloud via the mobile internet connection. For the OverPass Chill App, once the load for the linked asset is created and the driver uses the Chill App to pick up the load, it will automatically connect to the tag linked to the asset as long as it’s in range and will start to collect temp and location data in real time. No further syncing is needed. This data will be sent to the cloud via the mobile internet connection.
