Parrott Translator™

For highest speech recognition accuracy, a factory-adjusted current mirror
amplifier provides large microphone signal swing without distortion. High pass
and low pass filtering assures optimum voice frequency response. Isolation
network prevents legacy sound cards from voltage starving the microphone.
Batteries may be added to overcome low DC mic bias in certain notebook
computers. If batteries are needed, the Translator housing will accept two AA
cells; battery life will exceed 15 months.
