The Vulcan Kratos is a Versatile Multi-color LED Par Luminaire utilizing 18 x 18W RGBAW+UV
LEDs.
It is equipped with 3 & 5 Pin XLR’s for use with DMX-512 and also features Powercon in &
through connectors.

1. Safety Introductions
Please read the instructions carefully which includes important
information about the installation, operation and maintenance.
WARNING
Pleas e keep this User Guide for future consulta tion. I f you sel l the unit to another user, be
sure th at they also receive this instruction bo oklet .
All fix tures are intact from the manufacturer , pleas e opera te follow up the user manual,
artif icial fault are not under guarantee repa ir.
Unpac k and check carefully that there is no trans porta tion da mage before using the unit.
The uni t is for indoor use only. Use only in a dry l ocati on.
Do inst all and operate by operator.
Use saf ety chain when fixes the unit. Don’t handl e the uni t by taki ng its head only, but
alway s by taking its base.
The uni t must be installed in a location with adequ ate ven tilat ion, at least 50cm from
adjac ent surfaces.
Be sure t hat no ventilation slots are blocked, ot herwi se the un it will be overheated.
Befor e operating, ensure that the voltage and f reque ncy of po wer supply match the
power r equirements of the unit.
It’s im portant to ground the yellow/gr een con ducto r to eart h in order to avoid
elect ric shock.
Maxim um ambient temperature TA : 40℃. Don’t ope rate it w here th e temperature is
highe r than this.
Don’t c onnect the device to any dimmer pack.
First r un, there will be smoke or smells, an d all dis appea ring a fe w minutes later.
Make su re there are no flammable materials clos e to the un it whil e operating,
as it is fi re hazard.
Look ov er power wires carefully, replace imme diate ly if the re is any damage.
Never r un on for a long time lest shortening lifesp an.
Avoid a ny inflammable liquids, water or metal o bject s enter ing the unit.
Once it h appen, cut off the mains power
immed iately.
Do not op erate in dirty and dusty environment, al so clea ning fi xtures regularly.

Do not to uch any wire during operation as th ere mig ht be a haz ard of el ectric shock.
Avoid p ower wires together around other cable s.
Disco nnect mains power before fuse/lamp rep lacem ent or se rvicing.
Repla ce fuse only with the same type.
In the ev ent of serious operating proble m, stop u sing th e unit im mediately.
Never t urn on and off the unit time after time.
The hou sing, the lenses, or the ultraviolet fil ter mus t be repl aced if they are visibly
damag ed.
Do not op en the unit as there are no user serviceable p arts in side.
Never t ry to repair the unit by yourself. Repairs c arrie d out by un skilled people can
lead to d amage or malfunction. Please co ntact t he near est aut horized technical
assis tance center.
Disco nnect the mains power if the fixture is not us ed for a lo ng time .
Do use or iginal packing materials once transp ort it ag ain.
Do not lo ok directly at the LED light beam whi le the fi xture i s on.
For power supply, do not connect in series much more than 7 units, use
another mains supply for next 7 units.
Installation
The uni t should be mounted via its screw holes on the b racke t. Alwa ys ensure that the
unit is f irmly fixed to avoid vibration and slipp ing whi le oper ating. Always ensure that
the str ucture to which you are attaching the unit i s secur e and is ab le to support a
weigh t of 10 times of the unit’s weight. Als o alway s use a saf ety cab le that can hold
12 time s of the weight of the unit when instal ling th e fixtu re.
The equ ipment must be fixed by professionals. A nd it mus t be fixe d at a place where is
out of th e touch of people and has no one pass by or under it .

Fixture Cleaning
The cle aning of internal must be carried out peri odica lly to op timize light output.
Clean ing frequency depends on the environme nt in whi ch the fi xture operates: damp,
smoky o r particularly dirty surrounding can c ause gr eater
accum ulation of dirt on the fixture’s optics.
Clean w ith soft cloth using normal glass c leani ng flui d.
Alway s dry the parts carefully.
Clean t he external optics at least every 20 days. C lean th e inter nal optics at least
every 30/60 days.
