PREPPING YOUR
NEW TOOL

CHARGING

The Wingman is so ea sy to use. But before you star t using your new tool, you
must take the time to charge it overnight for 16 hours be fore its f irst use. Your
new tool comes with a small amount of charge, but the initial charge will ensure
your new tool will have optimum power per formance to give you smooth fast
cutting, every time.

- Before using for the first time, fully charge your new tool continuously for
16 hours.

- Maximum battery capacity will only be reached after 3 charging &
discharging cycles.

The Wingman can be c harged whilst standing in the charging /storage stand or
without the stand.
To charge the trimmer whilst in the stand, remove the trimmer and accessories
from the stand. Insert the small plug on the charging adaptor into the hole on
the base of the stand and push firmly into position. Route the cord through the
channel on the base of the stand and secure in place. Plug the charging adaptor
into a suitable mains power socket and switch on. E nsuring your new tool is
switched off, assemble the trimmer into the stand and push the trimmer down
onto the small plug to commence charging.

To charge the trimmer without the stand, simply insert the small plug on the
charging adaptor into the hole on the bas e of the trimmer.

- The red charging L ED indictor light on your new tool will flash when correctly
connected to the mains power. When it is fully charged, the red charging LED
indicator light w ill remain on.

- A full charge will supply 30 minu tes cordless runtime.

- To maintain optimum capacity of the rechargeable batter y, it is highly
recommended to f ully discharge & then recharge your tool for 16 hours every
3 months.

HOW TO USE

BEFORE USING

• Always inspect the trimmer blades for noticeable signs of damage.

• Always inspect the trimmer blades before use to ensure they are free from
hair, debr is etc.

• Ensure the trimmer is sufficiently charged before use.

• If the foil is cracked, broken or loose, do not us e it again and replace w ith a
new foil. Using a foil in a faulty condition can cause injury.

• Do not shave on open wounds, cuts, burns, war ts, moles or on sunburned
skin.

• Do not use the foil shaver if you suffer from skin irritations or infections,
such as psoriasis or eczema. If at all unsure always consult your doctor
before use.

CHANGING THE ATTACHMENT HEADS

1. Before changing the attachment heads, make sure your trimmer is switched
off.

2. Remove any comb guides attached to your trimmer.

3. To remove an attachment head, hold the handle of the trimmer with one hand,
while holding the attachment head wi th the other hand. Pull the attachment
head back and away from the front of the handle.

4. To attach an attachment head, the driving pin (Fig. 1) needs to be in a central
position. If it is not in the cen tre, manually move the pin into po sition. Then,
making sure that the base of the attachment head is seated in the handle,
click the attachment head into position.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the taper control is set to position number 1 when
changing the attachment heads.

USING THE 3 POSITION TAPER CONTROL

DEFINE YOUR LOOK!

The 3 position taper control (locat ed on the rear of the handle) 0.5mm to 1mm is
ideal for blending layers & a precise close trim, everytime.

The taper control is designed to be used with the 30mm trimming blade and the
40mm body trimming blade.

To use the taper control:

1. The trimmer will be set to it’s shortest cutting length of 0.5mm with the
number 3 v isible below the tap er control switch.

2. To increase the lengt h by 0.5 mm to a cu tting length of 1 mm, slide the switch
down so 2 is visible above the taper control switch.

3. To increase the lengt h by a further 0.5 mm to a cutting length of 1.5 mm,
slide the switch down so both 1 and 2 are visible above the taper control
switch.

USING THE TURBO BOOST

POWER ON!

The Turbo boost but ton provide 20% extra power boost for cutting thick or
coarse hair.

Simply press the turbo boost button located above the On/Off switch when
trimming for easy as extra cutting power.
