VOX-100 SIP Installation Guide
Terminals 1&2 – MUSIC MUTE
When these two terminals are shorted together, the music output of the amplifier will be muted to allow a telephone page to be heard.
MODEL VOX-100 SIP 100 WATT AMPLIFIER
Terminals 3&4 – TEL INPUT (Balanced)
Connect to the telephone system page port.
This voice input can only be activated by the telephone system page port dry contact or the VOX circuit.
Terminals 5&6 or RCA Jacks – MUSIC IN
Connect a music source to these terminals noting that pin 6 is a signal ground pin. It is important that shielded cable be used to avoid any induced hum. Use some RCA cables to connect the music source using the RCA jacks.

Connect the night ringer relay of the PBX to these terminals (dry contact activation).

Tel Volume
ON position applies a telephone off-hook condition on the TEL INPUT. Some PBX page ports (e.g., Avaya) requires this condition.
ON position provides the night ringer audio ring cadence of 2 sec. ON / 4 sec. OFF, when a dry contact is applied to Contact Ring. ON position Changes the output voltage from 70V to 25V.
The Power LED is ON when the equipment is connected to the AC electric outlet and is operational.
The Peak Level LED is ON when the output volume level has reached 70V.
Fault LED is ON when the amplifier is protecting itself from a faulty condition like a short circuit on the 70V output, overheat or an overload.

Play IP Button / Factory Reset
Connect the VOX-100 SIP to the network using an Ethernet cable. Wait for about 1 minute and press the ‘’Play IP’’ button to optain the IP address provided by the network DHCP server. Pressing this button will play the device’s IP address through the amplifier Output (make sure that at least a speaker is connected in order to hear the IP address).
Pressing this button for more than 5 seconds will automatically restore the factory default settings.
Warning: All configurations will be lost.
Adminstration WEB Interface
Knowing the device’s IP address is required to access the VOX-100 SIP administration WEB interface by typing the IP address in a web browser from a computer connected to the same local area network (LAN).
SIP Extension Registration
To register a SIP extention for paging:
1- Go to ‘’Device’’ -> ‘’SIP Server’’ Menu 2- Enter your SIP Server Domain name or IP address in the ‘’SIP Domain’’ Field 3- Click Save 4- Go to ‘’Paging’’ -> ‘’SIP Paging’’ Menu 5- In the ‘’SIP Extension’’ Section, enter the SIP Extension, Authentification and password and click Save. 6- Go to the ‘’Status’’ Menu to verify if the SIP registration has been sucessful.
The Night Ringer has its own dedicated SIP extention and can be configured in the ‘’Night Ringer’’ -> ‘’Settings’’ Menu.
