Safe Operation of the Radio
The driving conditions today require that the driver pays full attention to the road at all times. It is advised that when using this radio while driving the driver maintain full concentration on the road. Therefore it is strongly advised to do the following:
Never Change a CD or read CD labels while driving. Always Ensure the Volume of the Audio System is set so that outside acoustics can also be heard.
Introduction
The following instructions explain the general functions and operations of Volvo Radio Models. Radio information is displayed through the LCD display on the radio. The radio is commanded in three ways:
By the Faceplate shown in Fig 1. By the Steering Wheel Controls in Fig 2 (optional feature). By the Remote Control in Fig 3 (optional feature).
The main functions of the audio unit are:
Radio Mode. CD (supporting mp3 and WMA). USB (supporting mp3 and WMA). iPod. Auxiliary audio input. Hands free (Bluetooth Phone Operation).
