SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug
is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug.
If
it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to modify the plug
in any way.
2. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance such
as a hair dryer, etc., at the same

amperage may overheat.
Care should be taken to arrange
the
cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
6. Clean all parts before using (See “To Clean”).
CHECK VOLTAGE BEFORE USING
1. Your Quick Café II is provided with a dual voltage selector switch that
is located on the side of the Quick Café II base.
This switch

re 1).
2. CAUTION: Be sure dual voltage selector switch is in correct
voltag
e position before operating. QUICK CAFÉ II CAN
BE DAMAGED IF VOLTAGE SWITCH IS IN 120 VOLT POSITIO
N AND HOT BEVERAGE MAKER IS PLUGGED
INT
O 220/240 VOLT ELECTRICAL OUTLET. Before
pluggin
g in, read the information about dual voltage operation
in the “Operating Instructions” section of this manual. NOTE: An adaptor plug may be needed when traveling outside the USA (Figu
