HOW TO GE T T H E MOST FROM YOUR TOMATO PRO™:
• Use the included Redco Tomato King® Scooper to take the core out of the tomato before
slicing.
• Use the Tomato Pro™ on a at table with the “positive stop” arm secured against the edge of
the table.
• Use a quick push to move the tomato through the blades.
• Keep the tomato slices together to make them last longer.
• Occasionally spray o the blades with plain water – this removes the food acids, resulting in
longer blade life.
• Wash the Tomato Pro in a pot sink (Wash - Rinse - Sanitize) and allow it to air dry.
• Lubricate the rails with food grade lubricant, not food spray or cooking oils. Petrol Gel or Taylor
Lube works well.
• Keep the blades tight in the frame. Simply tighten the bolts that hold in the blade assembly.
• When the blades get dull, replace them. If they get too dull or loose, they will hit the pusher
ngers when slicing and then the pusher head will need replacing as well.
