PREVENTIVE PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CHART VOLARE W8 and W9
NOTES – MODELS VOLARE W8 and W9
The notes given below cover the lubrication and maintenance points that should be exactly fulfilled according to the Preventive Maintenance Chart.
1- The components must be lubricated at every 10 000 km and/or at every complete washing of the vehicle, and when lubricating, make sure that the grease stands out on the extremities;
2- At every replacing of brake shoe lining, also replace the spring set;
3- The product given below must be used in the regions with severe winters, in the proportion of 50% of the system volume, due to its anticorrosion and anitifreezing properties: Havoline XLC. For other cases there must be used the product Havoline XLI Green, in the proportion of 10%. Change every 350 000 km or 3 years.
4- When the vehicle is used in more-than-100 000 km/year conditions, the frequency of the maintence must be increased by 50% of the value in km.
5- Engine oil volume is 8 litres (crankcase) or 9, 2 litres (with filter).
6- The brake automatic adjuster, in normal conditions, should be desmounted and inspected every 120 000 km, or in severe conditions – every 60 000 km.
7- The first oil change should be performed at 50 000 km, and the following
changing – every 100 000 km.
8- Series 2100 Automatic Gearbox, oil volume - 16 litres. Change oil at the first 8 000 km, then every 160 000 km or 48 months, depending on what happens first.
9- Never perform bleeding-off of the electro injectors, when the engine is in operation or warm (operational danger).
IMPORTANT: Char t 1, mentioned in the Preventive Maintenance Chart,
is at the end of this manual.
