This manual explains the proper installation and use of your appliance, please read it carefully before using even if you are familiar with the product. The manual should be kept in a safe place for future reference. In case of failure, only the Authorized Technical Service may repair this hob. Otherwise the guarantee will be null and void.

General safety
l The appliance m ay only b e installed and connected

that meet st andards.
l In the event o f faults with the applianc e or damage
to the glas s toughened (crack s, scratches or sp lits),
the appli ance must b es witched off and
disconnect ed from t he electrical s upply, to p revent
the poss ibility of an electric shock.
l Repairs to the ap pliance must only be carried out by
trained Authorised persons .
l The technical and identificatio n data for the hob
figure on t he referenc e plate fixed to the appl iance.
l This referenc e plate must be consulted b efore
making t he electrical c onnections.
l The electrical connectio nsm ust be mad e by
specialis t aware to the legal and regulato ry,
requirements in each co untry.
l If the cable i sd amaged in any way it must be
replaced b y the manufacturer or aft er sale service
or by authorized technical staff, to avoid hazard .
Correct use
l People (including children) who, because o f their
physical, s ensory or mental capab ilities or their
inexperience o r ignorance are not able to use the
device safely ,s hould not use this dev ice without
supervisio no r instruction by a respo nsible person.
l This app liance should be used o nly for normal
domestic c ooking and frying of foo d.
l The appliance m ust no tb e used as a work surf ace
or as a storage surface.
l Additions or modifications to the appliance are not
permitted.
l Do not p lace or store flammab le liquids, highly
inflammab le materials or fusible objec ts (e.g. pl astic
film, plast ic, aluminum) o n or near the appl iance.
l Do not heat an empty pan o n the appliance.
Children’s saf ety
l The coo king zones will become hot when you
cook. Theref ore, always keep small children
away fro mthe appliance.
l The app liance is not intend ed for use by
young child ren or inf irmp ersons without
supervisio n.
l Young child ren sho uld be supervised to
ensure t hat they do no t play with the
appliance.
Safety during use
l Remove st ickers and f ilm from the glass
ceramic.
l There is the ris k of burns from the ap pliance if
used careles sly.
l Cables from electrical app liances must not
touch the hot surface of the ap pliance or hot
cookware.
l Overheated f ats and oils can ignite v ery
quickly. Warnin g! Fire hazard!
l Switch the c ooking zones off after each use.
l Users with im planted pacemakers s hould
keep their up per body at least 30 c mf rom
cooking zo nes that are switched on.
l Risk o fburns ! Do not place object s made of
metal, such as knives, fo rks,s poons and
saucepan lids on the co oking surface, as they
can get ho t.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Servicing of thehotplates must onlyb edone by an authorised service representative(see back of this booklet) and the
hotplate must not be modified. Power must be disconnected before any servicingo rmaintenance is conducted.
l Clean the panel: Suggest each clean after cooking
l Clean ignitionneedle ,thermocouple ,burner and Pan support: Recommended cleaningat least once a month
Abnormal conditions include:
l Excessively y ellow o r sooting flame type.
l Flame lif ting off the burner ports.
l Flame lig hting back into the burner (norma lly associated with a popping sound).
l Objectionable odour of the f lames co mbustion products.
Should a faulty condition develop in t he hotplate t hat is no t described above, refer t o the following table f irst for
possible causes and remedies prior to contacting an authoriseds ervice representative. Servicing beyondt heremedies
listed shall only be undertaken by anauthorised service representative.

No spark when gas control
knob depressed.

Check plugged in and switchedon.

Loose sparker cable. Call authorised representative.
Burner not aligned properly. Remove andre-fit burner.
Burner not lighting when
