To open your push button lock with the factory setting (2&4 then 3):
STEP 1. Turn the knob to the left about ¼ turn and release.
STEP 2. Push the #2 and the #4 buttons together,
STEP 3. Push the #3 button,
STEP 4. Turn the knob right (clockwise) a ¼ turn to open.
To lock: Close the lid or door, turn the knob left (counter clockwise) a ¼ turn or less, until it stops.
Important: Always turn the knob to the left before attempting to open lock. Please note, the knob
has a clutch feature, meaning, it will cycle a ¼ turn, if, excessive force is used without the proper
combination. VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT use the same number more than once.
DO NOT FORCE DOOR CLOSED: If door does not close, open and check to see if contents are interfering with lock
function.
WARNING: The lock does not operate automatically: Close lid or door, turn knob left in order to lock the
Security Case.
To change your combination: You may easily change to a new combination using one, all five, or any one of
five buttons. Simple two and three button combinations are easy to remember and still provide security. Note: A
combination can include any one of five buttons in any order. Two or more unique buttons may be pushed at one
time as part of a combination. Record your new combination and store it in a safe. place.

STEP 1. Open the door or lid with the factory code or existing combination. Turn the knob to the left and release
with the door open.
STEP 2. Enter existing combination, but DO NOT TURN KNOB.
STEP 3. Locate and push the “L” Tab in and release.
STEP 4. Turn the knob about ¼ turn left (counter clockwise).
STEP 5. Enter new combination (see above for details).DO NOT use the same number more than once.
STEP 6. Turn the knob to the right about ¼ turn (clockwise).
STEP 7. Turn the knob about ¼ turn left. Your new combination is now installed.
STEP 8. CHECK THE NEW COMBINATION SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE DOOR OPEN BEFORE LOCKING THE
DOOR.

V-Line Ind. warrants that all products manufactured under the V-Line name shall be free
from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (1) one year from the date of
original purchase. Locks carry a (1) one year warranty from the manufacturer.
This warranty applies only to new security cases and cabinets purchased from V-Line Ind.
or its authorized distributors and dealers. Purchaser must provide proof of purchase and
location of purchase in order to obtain service under this warranty.
V-Line Ind. has its option and may repair or replace any defective parts or unit.
This warranty does not apply to damage or loss resulting from accident, misuse, improper installation, scratching
of paint, normal wear and tear or negligence.
Purchaser must notify V-Line Ind. of any defect promptly upon delivery. All unauthorized
repairs or modifications performed will void warranty.
The responsibility of V-Line Ind. under this warranty is limited to replacement or repairs
of defective parts at the V-Line Ind. factory or at a point designated by V-Line Ind. with all
transportation charges paid by the original purchaser.
The implied warranty of merchantability with all other warranties on V-Line Security
Cases and Cabinets are hereby excluded and disclaimed. As a result, there are no
warranties extending beyond those expressly stated in this limited warranty.
V-Line Security Cases and Cabinets are designed to provide moderate security while
are not intended to provide the ultimate security system. They have not been rated for burglary or fire resistance.
Check your local and state laws if you wish to use your V-Line Security Case in your
vehicle. Consult with your local law-enforcement agency or a local attorney to verify
firearm storage and transportation laws in your area.
Under no circumstances will V-Line be responsible for any damages or loss including
loss of time or labor incurred by the purchaser beyond the cost of items purchased from
V-Line Industries.
