2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

11. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht mit feuchten Händen oder auf nassem Untergrund
stehend in Betrieb.
12. Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände in die Öffnungen.
13. Kleben Sie keine Fremdkörper an das Gerät und stellen Sie keine Gegenstände
auf das Gerät.

Hörsinns verursachen. Vermeiden Sie das Hören bei großem Lautstärkepegel
über lange Zeiträume.
2.2 Batterien
1. Die Batterien sind fest im Gerät eingebaut. Setzen Sie das Gerät und seine
Batterien niemals übermäßiger Hitze (z. B. praller Sonne, Feuer) aus und werfen
Sie sie niemals in Feuer. Die Batterien könnten explodieren.
2. Sollten Batterien einmal ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie Haut- und Augenkontakt
mit der Batteriesäure. Sollten Sie doch einmal Augenkontakt mit Batteriesäure
erfahren, spülen Sie die Augen mit viel Wasser aus und kontaktieren umgehend
einen Arzt. Bei Kontakt der Batteriesäure mit der Haut, waschen Sie die Stelle
mit viel Wasser und Seife ab.
3. Vor der Entsorgung, müssen eingebaute Batterien zuerst entfernt und separat
vom Gerät entsorgt werden. Führen Sie den Ausbau der Batterien niemals
selbst durch. Dies kann zu Verletzungen führen. Informieren Sie sich hierzu
bei Ihrem Händler, wo Sie das Produkt gekauft haben oder wenden Sie sich an
Rückgabe- und Sammelstellen in Ihrer Gemeinde, die für die umweltgerechte
Entsorgung von Elektrogeräten und Batterien zuständig sind.

1. Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich zur Wiedergabe von Audiodateien von
einem externen Gerät und als Headset zum Telefonieren mit einem Mobiltelefon.
2. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Innenräumen, niemals im Freien.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in gemäßigtem Klima.
3. Beachten Sie, dass die Empfangs-Reichweite des Gerätes ca. 10 m beträgt. Der
Empfang kann durch äußere Einflüsse wie Wände und Objekte beeinträchtigt
werden. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Gegenstände im Weg sind.
4. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in die Nähe von Geräten, die starke Magnetfelder
erzeugen (z. B. Motoren, Transformatoren).

4.1 Auspacken und Kontrolle
1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät und Zubehör vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.
2. Überprüfen Sie den Verpackungsinhalt auf Vollständigkeit und Beschädigungen.
Sollte der Verpackungsinhalt unvollständig oder Beschädigungen feststellbar
sein, nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb. Bringen Sie es umgehend zum
Händler zurück.
3. Falls Sie Verpackungsmaterial entsorgen wollen, halten Sie sich an die
gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
4. Bewahren Sie das Verpackungsmaterial auf, wenn Sie das Gerät damit verpacken,
verschicken oder anderweitig transportieren wollen. Lagern Sie es so, dass es
kein Gefährdungspotential darstellt.
WARNUNG - Erstickungsgefahr! Das Verpackungsmaterial ist kein
Spielzeug. An Plastiktüten, Folien und Styroporteilchen können Kinder
ersticken. Halten Sie daher Verpackungsmaterial immer von Kindern
fern.
4.2 Akku aufladen
1. Vor der ersten Verwendung muss der eingebaute Lithium-Polymer-Akku zunächst
vollständig aufgeladen werden.
2. Verbinden Sie das USB / Micro - USB Kabel (1) mit dem Micro - USB Anschluss
(7) des Gerätes. Durch das USB / Micro - USB Kabel (1) kann das Gerät mit
einem Computer verbunden und der Akku aufgeladen werden.

4. Der Ladevorgang eines vollständig entladenen Akkus dauert ca. 1,5 Stunden.
Ein voll aufgeladener Akku ermöglicht die Verwendung des Gerätes für ca. 6
Stunden. Dies ist jedoch abhängig von dem eingestellten Lautstärkevolumen.
HINWEIS: Das Gerät kann nur im ausgeschalteten Zustand geladen
werden. Die Verbinding mit einem externen Bluetooth® Gerät wird
unterbrochen, sobald dieses Gerät mit einer externen Stromversorgung
verbunden ist.
4.3 Gerät ein-/ausschalten
1. Drücken und halten Sie die Taste (4), um
das Gerät einzuschalten. Die Kontrollleuchte (3)
leuchtet blau und rot auf und ein Signalton ertönt.

4. Um eine Verbindung zu diesem Gerät herzustellen, wählen Sie in der Liste der
angezeigten Bluetooth® Geräte die Bezeichnung “BTKH9001SW” aus. Wenn
nach einem Passwort gefragt wird, geben Sie 0000 ein.
5. Wurde die Verbindung erfolgreich hergestellt, blinkt die Kontrollleuchte (3)
blau. Ein kurzer Signalton ertönt.
HINWEIS: Wurde das Gerät aus- und wieder eingeschaltet, so
wird automatisch die zuletzt verwendete Bluetooth® Verbindung
wieder hergestellt, wenn die Bluetooth® Funktion des externen
Wiedergabegerätes aktiviert und verfügbar ist.
HINWEIS: Nur ein externes Bluetooth® Gerät kann mit diesem Gerät
verbunden werden. Das verbundene Bluetooth® Gerät muss erst von
diesem Gerät getrennt werden, bevor ein anderes Bluetooth® Gerät
verbunden werden kann.
4.5 Automatischer Energiesparmodus
1. Wenn das Gerät nicht innerhalb von drei Minuten ein Bluetooth® Gerät in
Reichweite findet, schaltet es sich automatisch aus, um Akkukapazität zu sparen.
4.6 Audiodateien wiedergeben
1. Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit einem externen Gerät wie zuvor beschrieben.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste
unterbrechen und / oder wieder zu starten.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste + (2) und die Taste - (2), um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen bzw.
zu verringern. Sie können die Lautstärke auch an Ihrem externen Wiedergabegerät
einstellen.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste > (5), um zum nächsten Titel zu springen. Drücken Sie die
Taste < (5) einmal, um zum Anfang des derzeitigen Titels zu springen. Drücken Sie
die Taste < (5) zweimal, um zum vorherigen Titel zu springen.
5. Wenn die Verbindung zwischen externem Wiedergabegerät und diesem Gerät
untergebrochen wird, ertönt ein kurzer Signalton. Die Kontrollleuchte (3) blinkt
rot.

5.1 Reinigung
1. Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung das USB / Micro - USB Kabel (1) aus dem Micro
- USB Anschluss (7).

Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Halten Sie das Gerät niemals unter
fließendes Wasser.
2. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keinesfalls Lösungs- und Scheuermittel,
harte Bürsten, metallische oder scharfe Gegenstände. Lösungsmittel sind
gesundheitsschädlich und greifen die Plastikteile an, scheuernde Reiniger und
Hilfsmittel zerkratzen die Oberfläche.
3. Reinigen Sie das Gerätegehäuse mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch. Trocknen
Sie das Gerätegehäuse anschließend ab.
5.2 Aufbewahrung und Transport
1. Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel 5.1 Reinigung beschrieben.
HINWEIS: Verstauen Sie das Gerät immer in einem sauberen und
trockenen Zustand.

4. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Schlägen und Vibrationen, vor allem beim Transport
in Fahrzeugen.
5.3 Fehlerbehebung
Falls das Gerät nicht funktioniert, überprüfen Sie Folgendes:

2 Ist der Akku aufgeladen?
3 Ist das Gerät mit einem externen Bluetooth® Gerät verbunden?
Drücken und halten Sie die Taste (4), um das Gerät einzuschalten. Die
Kontrollleuchte (3) leuchtet auf und ein Signalton ertönt.
Durch das USB / Micro - USB Kabel kann das Gerät mit einem Computer
verbunden und der Akku aufgeladen werden.
Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit einem externen Bluetooth® Gerät.
HINWEISE: Wenden Sie sich an unseren Kundendienst, wenn das Gerät
nach dem Überprüfen der obigen Punkte immer noch nicht funktionieren
sollte. Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall selbst, das Gerät zu reparieren.

GmbH & Co. KG oder von dieser autorisierten Vertragswerkstätten ausgeführt

2.1 General safety instructions
1. Read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance for the first time. It
contains important information for your safety and for the use and maintenance
of the appliance. Keep the instruction manual in a safe place for future reference
and pass it along with the appliance.
2. Pay attention to all warnings on the appliance and this instruction manual.
3. Only use the appliance for the intended use. Improper use can cause hazards.
4. If you do not use the appliance for its intended purpose or improperly, no
liability will be accepted for resulting damages.
5. The use of accessories and appliance parts, which are not recommended by the
supplier, can cause injuries and damages and voids the warranty.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years as well as persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children

2.2 Batteries
1. The batteries are build-into the appliance. Do not expose the appliance and
batteries to excessive heat (e.g. direct sun, fire) and never throw them into fire.
The batteries could explode.
2. If the batteries leak, prevent battery acid from coming into contact with skin
and eyes. If you do get battery acid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with
lots of water and consult a physician immediately. If battery acid comes into
contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of water and soap.
3. Before disposing the appliance, batteries have to be removed and disposed of
separately. Never attempt to remove the batteries yourself. This could lead to
injuries. Contact your retailer where the appliance was purchased or contact
the return or collections systems in your community, who are in charge of the
environmentally friendly disposal of electronic appliance and batteries.
2.3 Intended use
1. This appliance is to be used exclusively for playback of audio files via an external
appliance and for use as a headset for a mobile phone.
2. Only use the appliance in dry indoor surroundings, never outdoors. Only use

4. Operating instructions
4.1 Unpacking and inspection
1. Carefully remove the appliance and the accessories from the packaging.
2. Check package contents for completeness and damage. Do not operate the
appliance if package contents is incomplete or appear damaged. Return it
immediately to the dealer.
3. Dispose of packaging material in accordance with legal provisions.
4. Store the packaging material if you want to use it to pack, ship or transport the
appliance. Store it in such a way that it cannot cause harm.
WARNING - Risk of suffocation! Packaging materials are not toys.
Plastic bags, foils and Styrofoam parts can suffocate children. Always
keep all packaging materials away from children.
4.2 Charging the battery
1. Prior to first use, the Lithium-Polymer-Battery has to be charged completely.
2. Connect the USB / Micro - USB cable (1) to the Micro - USB port (7) of the
appliance. The appliance can be connected to a computer and the battery
charged via the USB / Micro - USB cable (1).

4. The charging duration of a completely empty battery is about 1.5 hours. A
fully charged battery allows the use of the appliance for about 6 hours. This
depends on the set volume.
NOTE: The appliance can only be charged while switched off. The
connection to an external Bluetooth® appliance will be separated once
this appliance is connected to an external power supply.
4.3 Switching the appliance on and off
1. Press and hold the button (4) to switch the
appliance on. The indicator (3) lights up red and blue
and a signal tone sounds. The appliance is switched on.
2. Press and hold the button
to switch the appliance off. The indicator (3) switches
off and the appliance is switched off.
4.4 Connecting external appliances
1. Switch the appliance on.
2. The indicator (3) flashes blue. After about 10 seconds,
the appliance is ready to be used in Bluetooth® mode.
3. Switch on the Bluetooth® function of your external
appliance, which you want to connect to this appliance.
4. To establish a connection with this appliance, select “BTHK9001SW” from the
displayed list of Bluetooth® appliances. If a password is requested, enter 0000.
5. Was a connection established successfully, the indicator (3) light will flash blue
and a short signal tone will sound.
NOTE: Was the appliance switched off and back on, a connection
will automatically be established to the last connected Bluetooth®
appliance, if the Bluetooth® function of the external appliance is
activated and available.

NOTE: Only one external Bluetooth® appliance can be connected to
this appliance at one time. The connected Bluetooth® appliance has to
be disconnected from this appliance first, before another Bluetooth®
appliance can be connected.
4.5 Automatic energy saving modus
1. If the appliance is unable to find a Bluetooth® appliance in its range within
three minutes, it will switch off automatically to save battery power.
4.6 Playback of audio files
1. Connect the appliance with an external appliance as previously described.
2. Press the button
3. Press the button + (2) and the button - (2) to increase or reduce the volume.
You can also adjust the volume on your external appliance.
4. Press the button > (5) to jump to the next track. Press the button < (5) once to
return to the start of the current track. Press the button < (5) twice to return
to the previous track.
5. If the connection between the external appliance and this appliance is severed,
the indicator (3) will flash red and a signal tone will sound.
6. If you are no longer using the appliance, switch it off.
4.7 Answering a call and hanging up
1. Connect the appliance to a mobile phone as previously described.
2. Press the button
3. Press the button + (2) and the button - (2) to increase or reduce the volume.
You can also adjust the volume on your external appliance.

5. Cleaning and care
5.1 Cleaning
1. Prior to every cleaning, remove the USB / Micro - USB cable (1) from the Micro
- USB port (7).
WARNING - Danger of electrocution! Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids. Do not hold the appliance under running water.
2. Never use solvents or abrasives cleaners, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects
when cleaning. Solvents are harmful and can damage plastics, abrasive cleaners
and aids can scratch surfaces.
3. Clean the appliance housing using a slightly damp cloth. Afterwards dry the
appliance housing.
5.2 Storage and Transportation
1. Clean the appliance as described in chapter 5.1 Cleaning.
NOTE: Always store the appliance in clean and dry conditions.
2. Store the product in a dry, clean place, inaccessible for children, preferable in
its original packaging.
3. Ensure that the appliance cannot fall down or tumble over during transport.
4. Protect the appliance from impacts and vibrations, especially when transporting
it in vehicles.

If the appliance does not function, please check the following:

Press and hold the button (4) to switch the appliance on. The indicator
(3) lights up and a signal tone sounds.
The appliance can be charged using the USB / Micro - USB cable connected
to a computer.
Connect the appliance to an external Bluetooth® appliance.
NOTE: Contact our customer service, if the appliance remains nonfunctional after checking the above points. Do not try under any
circumstances to repair the appliance yourself.

Correct disposal of this product:

Thank you for your purchase of one of our products. We hope you will enjoy using
our high-quality product. Our strict production control ensures the high quality of
our appliances. However, in the event that you wish to submit a qualified claim,
warranty as of the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:
This warranty does not affect your statutory warranty claims as consumer toward
the seller of the appliance. These rights are not affected by our manufacturer‘s
warranty. The warranty granted by us is valid only for domestic use of the appliance
and is limited to the area of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The warranty term is 3 years as of the date of purchase.
It is within VIVESS discretion to fulfil the warranty by repair or replacement of the
appliance or defect component. Other claims are excluded. In case of questions
regarding VIVESS products you no longer need to take the time to go to the seller
but may call our service hotline or service centre directly. A team of highly qualified
product consultants and technicians is available:

ATTENTION: Mailings that are not pre-paid will not be accepted!
Our service partner requires proof of purchase, either as original receipt or cash
receipt printed by the seller to perform warranty repairs. The serial number on the
appliance must also be readable. We are unable to perform warranty services free

Warranty repairs may be performed exclusively by tcs technical customer solutions
GmbH & Co. KG or contractual partners authorised by it. Repairs performed by
the customer or other shops void the warranty; a claim for cost reimbursement

in case of mechanical damages to the appliance from outside forces
in case of transportation damages
for wear parts
in case of operating errors and misuse
when placing the appliance in wet rooms or outdoors

and other reasons not within the scope of VIVESS responsibility.

Liability Act.
Any warranty services provided by us do not extend the warranty term of 3 years
