SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• After using, pull out the plug and set steam adjustable to "0".

• Please check the voltage of your power source if it is suitable for your iron.

• If the iron malfunctions, don't try to repair it by yourself. Pleaser return it to the manufacturer ar have it

repaired by qualified technician.

• Never leave iron unattended while it is connected to the power supply.

• Do not let children touch the iron or pull supply cord.

• Do unplug the iron when filling with water; emptying the tank, leaving the iron unattended (even for a sho

rt time) ,or after use.

• Do not unplug the iron by pulling on the supply cord.

• When first using.tearoffthe protective covering on the soleplate and wipe it with soft cloth.

• When first using, iron may give off a strong smell, because of the oil on some parts, but it will soon

disappear.

• The steam ejected is of high temperature ,so do not steam it towards the body to avoid scalding.

• When ironing different materials.start with the lowest temperature clothes and advance towards highest

temperature clothes, because iron heats easier than it cools down.

• When using.do not use another electric appliance on the same socket or let the soleplate touch hard
things.

• Do not immerse iron in water.

• When cleaning the iron,do not use vinegar or other scale removing liquid in the water tank.

• Keep the main cord awayfrom the heated iron soleplate.

• To protect the iron,place the iron on its back cover after using it.

USING THE IRON

1. FILLING THE IRON WITH WATER

• Pull out the plug and regulate the steam adjustable button to "0" position before filling water.

• Place the iron vertically and open the water filling lid, and fill waterto the "MAX" mark on the iron.

2. HOW TO DO IRONING

• Before ironing determine nature ofthe clothes to be ironed. Please referto th e attached temperature
setting.

• Place the iron vertically.turn the temperature selection according to the back cover,plug in the
suitable power source,then the pilot lamp lights.

• When the lamp switches off,it indicates that the temperature is within the range of your selection.

• Ifsome kind offinish has been applied (gloss,wrinkle, relief etc.),the textile can best be ironed with

lower temperature.

• Classify the clothes according to the different ironing temperature,start uith the lower temperature
clothes.

• If the article is made of a mixture of different fibres, you must all jays select the lowest ironing
temperature ofthe composition of those fibres

.

• Iron the inside of synthetic material and silk to prevent shining spots.

• Velvet and other textures which rapidly acquire shiny spots should be ironed in one direction

only(withthe nap), always keep the iron moving.

3. HOW TO SPRAY WATER

• How to spraywater press the spray button,when ironing heavily creased clothes,you may press the
water spraying button repeatedly,the iron can sprayvaporto accelerate the rate of ironing.

ATTENTION When using the function of powerful steam,burst of steam or water spraying,make sure that
there is enough water in the water tank.

4. BURST OF STEAM IRONING

• Press the burst of steam button quickly there will be a jet of strong steam ejected from the soleplate, it
is helpful for you to iron heavily creased clothes, cuffs or thick clothes, and it can make your ironing
quicker and more efficient.

5. VERTICAL BURST OFSTEAM IRONING

• When in a hurry or a narrow room, you may hang up the clothes,and keep the iron in vertical
position,press the burst of steam button quickly. It will help you u do the ironing easily.lt is the same
for the curtains.

MAINTAINANCE AND CLEANING

1. MAINTAINANCE

• After the iron cools downwind the supply cord around the cord reeling device, place the iron upright in

stable place, well out of the reach of children.

2. CLEANING

• Unplug the iron,clean the iron only after it cools down.

• Clean the main body and soleplate with a piece of soft cloth.

• Steam holes can be cleaned with a toothpick.

• Do not use acid or alkali to the iron body to avoid the color be changed.

ATTENTION When cleaning the iron, do not immerse the iron in water, or use vinegar or other scale removing
liquids in the watertank.
