Intended Use and Principle
VivaChek™ Ino Plus Blood Glucose Monitoring System is comprised of the
VivaChek™ Ino Plus Blood Glucose Mete r and the VivaChek™ Ino Blood Glucose
Test Strips. The VivaChek™ Ino Plus Blood Glucose Monitoring System (Met er
Model: VGM22) is designed to quantitatively measure the glucose concentration in
fresh capillary whole blood. It is used at home as a way to monitor the
effectiveness of dia betes c ont rol pr ogram s. This syst em is in te nded t o be us ed b y
a single patient and should not be shared.
The VivaChek ™ Ino Plus Blood Glucose Moni toring System is not used for the
diagnosis of or screening of diabetes or for neonatal use.
The VivaChek™ Ino Blood Glucose Control Solution is for use with the VivaChek™
Ino Plus Blood Glucose Meter and VivaChek™ Ino Strips as a quality control check
to verify that the m eter and test s trip are worki ng together prope rly, and that the
test is performing correctly.
