Intended Use and Principle
VivaChek™ Sync Blood Glucose Monitoring System is comprised of the
VivaChek™ Sync Blood Glucose Met er and the VivaChek™ Ino Blood Glucose
Test Strips. The VivaChek™ Sync Blood Glucose Monitoring System (Meter Model:
VGM05) is desi gned to quantitativ ely m easure the glucose c oncentrat ion in fres h
capillary whole blood. It is used at ho me as a way to moni tor the effectiv eness o f
diabetes control pr ograms. T his sys tem is i ntended to b e used b y a single p atient
and should not be shared.
The VivaChek™ Sync Blood Glucose Monitoring System is not used for the
diagnosis of or screening of diabetes or for neonatal use.
The VivaChek™ Ino Blood Glucose Control Solution is for use with the VivaChek™
Sync Blo od Glucose Meter and VivaChek™ Ino Strips as a quality control check to
verify that the meter and test strip are working together properly, and that the test is
performing correctly.
