3. R O U T E R DESCRIPTION
3. R o u t e r description
L T E route r LR77 v2 is used t o wirelessly connect v a r i o u s equipments and devices via Ethernet interface 10/100 to the Internet or intranet. Thanks t o high data transfer speed of up t o 100 Mbit/s (download) and upload speed up t o 50 Mbit/s it is an ideal wireless solution for traffic and security camera systems, individual computers, LANnetworks, automatic t e l l e r machines (ATM) and o th e r self-service t e r m i n a l s , e t c.
As a standard, this e x c e p t i o n a l l y fast L T E LR77 v2 wireless router is equipped with one Ethernet 10/100, one USB Host port, one binary Input/output (I/O) port and one SIM card T o save and backup communication data a v e r s i o n with two SIM cards is a v a i l a b l e . The wide range of interface options of the router further e x p a n d s P o r t 1 and P o r t 2 e x p a n s i o n ports, which are selected b y the customer. F o r P o r t 1 are a v a i l a b l e : Ethernet port 10/100, serial interface ports RS232/RS485/RS422/MBUS or inputs/outputs (I/O – CNT). P o r t 2 may be equipped with serial interfaces RS232/RS485/RS422/MBUS, wireless interfaces WIFI/WMBUS, SDH e x p a n sion port or inputs/outputs (I/O – CNT). Both of ports can be fitted with internal switch (exp. port S W I T C H ) . This 3G wireless router is supplied either in a plastic or metal casing, based on the re qui re me n ts of the customer.
Configuration is done via w e b interface protected b y password. The LR77 v2 router supports creation of VPN tunnels using t e c h n o l o g i e s IPsec, OpenVPN and L2TP to ensure safe communication. W e b interface provides detail statistics about the 3G router activities, signal strength, detailed log, e t c. Cellular router supports functions: DHCP, NAT, N AT-T, DynDNS, NTP, VRRP, control b y SMS and many o th er function.
Other diagnostic functions ensuring continuous communication include automatic inspection of PPP connection offering an automatic r est a r t f e at u r e – in case of connection losses, or hardware w a t c h d o g which monitors the status of the router. With the help of a special window (start up script window) y o u may insert Linux scripts fo r v a r i o u s actions. F o r some applications the k e y option to create several different configurations for one L T E wireless router, the so-called profiles (maximum of 4), and the option to switch between them (for e x a m p l e via SMS, binary input status, etc . ) is essential. Cellular wireless routers LR77 v2 may automatically upgrade configuration and firmware from server. This allows mass re con fig ur a ti o n of many routers in one time.
F o r easy use additional software may be used - communication VPN server Digicluster and software f o r router monitoring R - S e e N e t .

Mounting r e com men d at i on s :
• possibility to be put on a wo r k surface,
• DIN rail with clips CKD 2 (ELPAC clip SL fo r metal v e r s i o n ) are included.
F o r the most of applications with a built-in router in a switch board it is possible to re c og n iz e two kinds of environments:

5.8.3 Antenna connector ANT, DIV and GPS (alternatively WIFI or WMBUS)
Main and diversity antennas are connected t o the router using the SMA connector on the front panel. In the F u l l v e r s i o n of the router is also a v a i l a b l e the third SMA antenna connector, through which the additional antenna can be connected (in case of the WIFI e x p a n s i o n port is used, this connector is r e ve rs e – RSMA).
The router can not operate without connecting the main antenna marked as ANT.
ANT connector is used to connect the main antenna router. T o connect the diversity ant e n n a is used the second antenna connector DIV. The third connector (GPS) in th e full v e r s i o n of the router is used f o r additional antenna intended f o r GPS (router supports active GPS ant e n n a ) . On user’s re qu e st, this antenna connector can be modified to WIFI or WMBUS.
