The Vitesse® Air Purifier enables the unit to draw outside air through a wall or
window vent into an indoor environment. It captures viruses, bacteria, fumes,
dust, vapours at the source. It converts your device into a self contained
extraction- at source system. This device enables the creation of positive or
negative pressure environments. Vitesse® air purifier has a built-in, independent
ionizer that help to trap airborne particles, to more efficiently clean the air in your
home. When the air cleaner's ionizer is turned on, voltage is applied to a series of
built-in needles, creating electrons which are discharged into the air. When these
electrons attach to air molecules, ions are formed.

These negative ions are dispelled into the room where they attach to dust, pollen,
cigarette smoke and pet dander to form larger particles, which can more easily be
trapped by your air cleaner's filters. However, these particles can also descend to
the floor to be vacuumed later, or attach to positively charged surfaces in the room
and to the grill work of your air cleaner, requiring frequent dusting. Negative ions
are present in our environment, wherever the air is 'stirred up', especially around
waterfalls, ocean surf, rivers and mountains. Positive ions are also present
around us, in carpets, draperies and allergens in our home. Many people believe
that negative ions promote wellness, and as such, provide additional benefits
when there are more negative ions than positive ones in the air we breathe.
In summary, the inbuilt ionizer in your Vitesse® air purifier enables you to work
more efficiently, helping you breathe cleaner and fresher air.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Safety precautions should always
be used when operating this or any electrical appliance. Decrease the risk of
electrocution, electric shock, injury or fire by reading and following all the
warnings below:
• Use only as described in this Air purifier manual. To reduce the risk of electric
shock, do not attempt to service the product in any way other than in the
manner described in the Cleaning and Maintenance section of this manual.
• Do not use the Air purifier outdoors.
• Do not use the Air purifier in bathrooms or other humid environments, near
fireplaces or in areas where flammable or combustible vapors or products
may exist.
• Operates at 230V AC and 50HZ only.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a polarized plug(one
blade is wide than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet. Do not alter the plug
in any way.
• Always turn off the switch before unplugging the Ionizer from outlet.
• Always turn off and unplug this product from outlet before cleaning the
collection blades.
• Always turn off this product when not in use.
• Never touch the internal parts, such as electrodes, ionizing needle plate, or
any internal part within Air purifier with any object.
• Do not open the outer casing of the Air purifier. Attempting to open the unit will
cause the warranty to be voided and could cause serious personal injury to
the use and/or result in considerable damage to the unit.
• Do not place the Air purifier's cord near a heated surface.
• Never operate the Air purifier if the plug or cord is damaged or appears
damaged. Only qualified service personnel should ever replace or attempt to
replace a damaged power cord.
• Never use the power cord to pick up, carry, drag, pull, or lift the Air purifier. Do
not pull the cord against or around sharp corners and edges. This could result
in injury to the user or damage to the cord.
• Always remove the plug from its power outlet by holding onto the plug itself
and pulling gently.
• Never pull on the cord itself to unplug it from its power outlet.
• Use care when operating the Air purifier by keeping all fingers, body parts,
hair, loose clothing and jewelry away from openings.
• Never touch the Air purifier or its plug when your hands are wet.
• The Air purifier is an electrical appliance. Adult supervision is required when
operating the Air purifier in the presence of children.
• Do not touch the metal ground plate until after discharging residual electricity
by touching plate to an electrical ground such as a water pipe or metal faucet.
• The collection ground plate should be inspected frequently and cleaned
regularly to prevent excessive accumulation that may result in an electrical
flashover or risk of fire.

FEATURES:
Air Purifier is specially designed compact unit with the power of an ionizer more
than twice its size. If operates using negative ions that pull in polluted air, trap
contaminants, and release clean, healthy air. This Air purifier is energy efficient, it
only consumes up to 12Watts of power and effectively covers up to 20 centiare.
There are no expensive filters to replace, the collection grid filters the air by
trapping airborne particles, pollutants and allergens that are in the air. Compact
design is perfect for desk or shelf.
Operating Your Air Purifier
1. For best air circulation, make sure that the Air Purifier is at least 6inch. away
from wall or any large objects. Place the unit on a desk, table or shelf.
2. Before connecting the unit, make sure that the Collection Grid is inserted
properly. Just pull out the Grid and reinsert it .The Collection Grid can be
inserted one way only. Follow the grooves on the top of the unit. Slide the
Collection Grid in until you hear a click.
3. Plug in the unit.
4 Press down the button and the unit will create negative ions that pull in polluted
air, trap contaminants, and release clean, healthy air. The additional Fan
increases air circulation, therefore making the Purifier more effective.

Germicidal Lamp Replacement
Lamps are effective for 6000 hours,or about 8 months of continuous use.Replace
earlier if there is no “blue glow”inside the housing,when the unit is running in UV
mode.
Oil from fingers will reduce the germicidal performance of the UV lamp.DO NOT
allow fingers to come in contact with the glass.Use gloves or handle only by the
metal area of the lamp.If you touch the lamp or need to clean it for any
reason,wipe with a paper towel dampened with alcohol or any ammonia-based
cleaner
1. To unlock the back cover, slide the LOCKING TAB open.Remove the back
cover by lifting it up and sliding it up and out.
2. Turn the lamp 1/4 turn and slide it from its fixture.Replace with a new lamp of
the same type.
Replacement lamps are available directly from The Sharper Image.Consult
your local regulations for the proper disposal method of used fluorescent
lamps.
The unit will not function while the collection grid is removed and/or the
germicidal lamp cover is removed.

Cleaning the Collection Grid
Clean the grid every one or two weeks.
1. Before cleaning,unplug the unit.
2. To remove the collection grid,pull it from the right
side of the unit.
3. To quickly wipe the dust from each of the three
collection bars,use a dry or slightly damp towel
or sponge.

Failure to follow these warnings can result in direct exposure to germicidal
light,which can cause temporary or chronic damage to your eyesight,or may even

The collection grid has many edges and areas that can trap water.IF running
water is used to clean the grid,allow the collection grid to dry completely.
If candles or oil lamps are burned,the collection array must be cleaned
immediately or the collected soot may be released back into the room.In any area
where this product will be subjected to heavy pollution it will be necessary to clean
the collection array more often.

ОПИСАНИЕ
Очиститель воздуха это специально разработанный прибор с функцией
ионизации воздуха.
С помощью негативных ионов прибор притягивает загрязненный воздух и
очищает его. Этот прибор энергетически целесообразный, так как его
потребляемая мощность 12 Ватт, но площадь очистки воздуха около 20
квадратных метров. Прибор не содержит дорогостоящих фильтров,
воздушная решетка фильтрует загрязненный воздух. Компактный дизайн
позволяет размещать его в любом удобном для вас месте.
ЭКСПЛУАТАЦИЯ
1. Для превосходного результата не следует размещать прибор вблизи стен
или больших предметов, расстояние между прибором и стеной должно
быть более 15 сантиметров.
2. Перед тем как подключить прибор к электросети, убедитесь, что
воздушная решетка установлена правильно. Просто достаньте решетку и
переустановите ее. Решетку прибора можно установить только одним
образом. Следуйте вырезам сверху на приборе. Вставьте решетку в
вырезы и нажмите на решетку, и вы услышите щелчок.
3. Вставьте штепсель в розетку.
4. Нажмите кнопку, и прибор включится и начнет вырабатывать негативные
ионы, которые будут притягивать загрязненный воздух и очищать его.
Вмонтированный вентилятор ускорит процесс циркуляции воздуха и
делает прибор более эффективным.

ЗАМЕНА УЛЬТРАФИОЛЕТОВОЙ ЛАМПЫ
Работа лампы эффективна на протяжении 6000 часов или 8 месяцев. Лампу
следует заменить, если нет голубого зарева внутри прибора, когда вы
включаете лампу. Не трогайте лампу руками, если необходимо заменить
лампу, пользуйтесь перчатками или возьмитесь за металлические части
лампы. Если вы случайно дотронулись до лампы, то вам необходимо
протереть ее мягкой тканью или бумажной салфеткой, предварительно
смочив их спиртом.
1. Для того чтобы открыть заднюю часть прибора, нажмите на крепежный
механизм и достаньте крышку, поднявши ее вверх.
2. Поверните лампу на ¼ оборота и достаньте ее из крепления. Замените ее
аналогичной лампой. Тип лампы G6T5UV-C, мощность 6 Ватт. Также вы
можете обратиться в сервисную мастерскую для замены. Прибор не
будет работать, если не установлена очистительная решетка или крышка
лампы на свои места.
Предупреждение: Для того чтобы избежать поражения электрическим током
или других травм, следует придерживаться основных правил безопасности,

УХОД И ЧИСТКА
Решетку прибора необходимо чистить раз в две недели.
1. Перед чисткой прибора необходимо достать штепсель из розетки.
2. Для того чтобы достать решетку ее необходимо потянуть вправо. Для
того чтобы очистить прутья прибора используйте мягкую ткань.
