IIMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Do not mix hot liquids.
2. Do no t use fingers to scrape food away from blade while appliance is
operating. Cut type injury may result.
3. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
4. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base
without container properly attached.
5. Make sure the blades have come to a complete stop before removing the lid.
6. Be certain cover is securely locked in place before operating appliance.
7. Do not attempt to defeat the cover or container interlock mechanisms.
8. To reduce the risk of injury never places the mini chopper cutting blades
directly onto the motor base without container properly attached.
9. To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never pull on cord to
disconnect.
10. A short cord set is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
11. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. The marked
electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the countertop where it can be tripped over or
pulled by children.
12. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any
way.
13. After running the motor continuously for three minutes, wait at least five
minutes before running the motor again.
14. Do not run motor while container is empty.
15. Do not leave appliance unattended during operation.
16. Keep hands and utensils away from the cutting blade while chopping food to
reduce risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the mini chopper. A
scraper may be used but only when mini chopper is no in operation.
NOTE: The food container must be locked
onto the motor base and then the lid must be
locked onto the food container for the unit to
operate. Assembly and operation.
1. Prior the first use, wash all parts except motor base in warm soapy
water, rinse and dry. Do no wash any parts in dishwasher.
2. Place the food container on the motor base. Line up arrows on food
container and motor base. Turn clockwise to lock in place. Food container
must be locked in place or unit to operate.
3. Slide blade over the shaft in the food container. Follow directions below
for chopping.
4. Put lid on food container, lining up the arrows. Turn lid clockwise until lid
locks in place. The mini chopper will not start until food container lid is
locker into position.
5. Always wait until the blades have stopped turning before removing food
container lid and adding or removing food.
6. Plug your Cooks Mini Chopper into an electrical outlet. Press the LOW
speed to start and increase to the HIGH speed as needed. It is
recommended that one hand be placed on the mini chopper lid while in
use to proved unit stability.
7. If the machine doesn't start, make sure it is plugged in and the container
and lid are properly locked in place. If the blades will not spin, unplug the
unit and reassemble the mini chopper. Always unplug the unit before
placing hands in the container.
8. To indicate motor is off, blades will come to a stop.
9. For Pulse-Chopping, press the LOW button the number of times necessary
for the ingredients to reach the desired consistency. The motor will run as
long as you press either the LOW or HIGH button. The motor stops when
you release either button. For best results, allow enough time between
puls es for the food to fall back to the bottom of the food
container.
