SAFETY MEASURES AND OPERATION RECOMMENDATIONS

•Before using the garment steamer, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

•Use the unit for its intended purpose only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.

•Make sure that the operating voltage of the unit indicated on the label corresponds to your home mains voltage.

•The power plug has a grounding contact, connect it to the socket with reliable grounding contact.

•To avoid fire, do not use adapters for connecting the unit to the mains.

•Do not touch the unit body, the power cord and the power plug with wet hands.

•Switch the unit off and unplug it when the water tank becomes empty.

•Never leave the unit connected to the mains unattended.

•Do not use the unit near heating appliances, heat sources or open flame.

•Do not use the unit in proximity to the kitchen sink, in bathrooms, near swimming pools or other containers filled with water.

•If the unit is dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then you can take the unit out of water. Apply to the service center for testing or repairing the unit.

•Do not use the unit in places where aerosols are used or sprayed, in proximity to inflammable liquids and in places where such liquids are stored.

•Place the garment steamer vertically on an even, dry, moistureand heat-resistant surface, do not place it horizontally and do not turn it over during the operation.

•Use only the brush attachment supplied with the unit.

•Before using the unit, make sure that the brush attachment is set and fixed properly.

•During the operation hold the steamer vertically, keep your hand on the same level with the steam supply button.

•It is recommended to fill the water tank with tap water which was additionally cleaned with domestic filters. Do not use carbonated water or any perfume additives.

•Ensure that water level is not above the maximal level mark «MAX».

•Do not block the steam release openings and do not insert any foreign objects into the openings.

•During the operation the upper part of the unit body and the operating surface of the steamer become very hot, do not touch the operating surface and the upper part of the unit body to avoid getting burns.

•Avoid getting burns by hot steam.

•Never steam clothes on a person, use a hanger.

•Never direct the operating steamer onto people, animals and plants as well as onto furniture, electric appliances, books and any other objects that can be damaged by hot steam. The distance between the furniture and the garment steamer should be 5-15 cm.

•Do not use the power cord as a carrying handle, carry the unit by the handle.

•Unplug the unit after usage or before cleaning.

•Switch the steamer off and unplug the power cord plug from the mains socket.

•When unplugging the unit hold the power plug and remove it from the mains socket, do not pull the power cord – this can lead to its damage and cause short circuit.

•For child safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.

Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

•This unit is not intended for usage by children.

•Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the unit as a toy.

•Do not allow children to touch the operating surface, unit body, power cord or power plug during operation of the unit.

•Be especially careful if children or disabled persons are near the operating unit.

•During the unit operation and breaks between operationcycles,placetheunitoutofreachofchildren.

•The unit is not intended to be used by people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities (in-

cluding children) or by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.

•From time to time check the power cord integrity.

•If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.

•Do not use the unit if the power cord or the power plug is damaged, if the unit works improperly and after it was dropped.

•Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center at the contact addresses given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.

•To avoid damages, transport the unit in the original package only.

•Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room temperature.

•Unpack the unit and remove any packaging materials and advertising stickers.

•If there is a protective film on the operating surface (4), remove it.

•Keep the original package.

•Read the safety measures and operating recommendations.

•Check the delivery set.

•Examine the unit for damages; if the unit is damaged, do not plug it into the mains.

•Make sure that the indicated specifications of the power supply voltage of the unit correspond to the specifications of your mains. When the unit is used in the mains with 60 Hz frequency, it does not need any additional settings.

•The unit is intended for operation with AC system and 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does not need any additional settings for operating with the required nominal frequency.

•To remove the dust clean the garment steamer with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE GARMENT STEAMER

ATTENTION!

You can use the garment steamer for quick steaming of clothes and for reshaping them.

It is recommended to additionally use an iron for items with deep folds.

-The garment steamer is intended for household use only.

-The garment steamer is intended for delicate fabrics and for smoothing of folds on clothes or furniture.

-If you have doubts about steaming any certain kind of fabric or clothes, try steaming the fabrics from the inside.

-When steaming delicate fabrics, hold the steamer at a 5-15 cm distance from the item.

-The brush attachment (5) removes lint and dirt from the clothes, makes smoothing of the folds easier and allows to steam thick and heavy fabrics.

STEAMER OPERATION

•Before using the garment steamer press and hold the handle clamp button (2), unfold the handle (1) and release the button (2).

Water selection

•Fill the water tank (3) with tap water which was additionally cleaned with a domestic filter.

•If tap water is hard, we recommend mixing it with distilled water in proportion 1:1. If tap water is too hard, mix it with distilled water in proportion

1:2 or use distilled water only.

ATTENTION!

Before removing the water tank (3) make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the mains socket.

•Remove the water tank (3) from the garment steamer body. To do this, take the water tank

(3) by the ledges on both sides of the tank and remove it.

•Fill the water tank (3) with water. Do not exceed the maximal level mark. Wipe the water drops on the tank (3) with a paper towel or a dry cloth.

•Do not fill the tank (3) with perfume additives, carbonated water, chemicals etc.

•Install the water tank (3) back to its place and make sure that the water tank (3) is fixed properly.

Switching the steamer on/off

•Hold the garment steamer by the handle (1).

•Insert the power plug into the mains socket, the indicator (6) will light up.

•When the indicator (6) goes out, you can start using the garment steamer.

•Switch the steam supply on by pressing and holding the button (8).

•To switch the steam supply off, release the button (8).

•To switch the continuous steam supply on press and hold the button (8), move the lock (9) to the

USING THE BRUSH ATTACHMENT

ATTENTION!

Before installing the brush attachment (5),

•After the unit operation, remove the power make sure that the operating surface (4) has

plug from the mains socket and let the garment steamer cool down.

•Remove the water tank (3), drain the water from it and install the water tank back to its place (3).

•To minimize the size, press and hold the button

(2), fold the handle (1) (pic. 1).

Note: - when switching the unit on for the first time, foreign smell can appear. It is normal.

Steaming recommendations

•Before using the steamer, clean the steam chamber; for this, direct the outgoing steam onto a cloth, for example, try to smooth out a kitchen towel.

•If the water tank (3) becomes empty during the operation, unplug the unit before removing the tank (3) and refilling it.

•Never steam clothes on a person, use a hanger.

•Make sure that the pockets of the clothes are empty, fasten the upper button.

•Hang the clother on the hanger and make sure that the clothes do not touch other objects.

Make sure that there are no other objects behing the hanging clothes which can be damaged by hot steam.

Note: - do not direct the steam on metal buttons or accessories.

ATTENTION!

During the operation, the operating surface (4) and the upper part of the body (7) become very hot, do not touch the operating surface (4) and the upper part of the body (7), and beware of getting burned by hot steam.

If you use the garment steamer without the brush attachment (5), keep the operating surface (4) at at least 5 cm from the clothes.

Note: - After steaming the clothes should cool down and dry, it may take some time.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket and let the garment steamer cool down completely.

•Remove the water tank (3) and drain the remaining water, install the tank (3) back to its place.

•Clean the garment steamer body and the operation surface with the steam release openings (4) with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe dry.

•You can remove the mineral deposits from the operating surface (4) with a cloth soaked in the water and vinegar solution.

•Remove the brush attachment (5) and wash it under a water jet.

•Do not use abrasive cleaners and solvents to clean the garment steamer.

•Do not immerse the steamer, the power cord and the power plug into water or other liquids.

STORAGE

•Unplug the steamer and wait till it cools down completely.

•Clean the steamer.

•Keep the unit in a dry darkened and cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

•Не используйте сетевой шнур в качестве ручки для переноски отпаривателя, переносите устройство, взявшись за ручку.

•Отключайте устройство от электросети после использования или перед чисткой.

ПЕРЕД ПЕРВЫМ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕМ

После транспортировки или хранения устройства при пониженной температуре необходимо выдержать его при комнатной температуре не менее трёх часов.

•Распакуйте устройство и удалите все упаковочные материалы и рекламные наклейки.

•При наличии защитной плёнки на рабочей поверхности (4) снимите её.

•Сохраните заводскую упаковку.

•Ознакомьтесь с мерами безопасности и рекомендациями по эксплуатации.

•Проверьте комплектацию.

•Осмотрите устройство на наличие повреждений при наличии повреждений не включайте его в электрическую сеть.

•Убедитесь, что указанные параметры напряжения питания устройства, соответствуют параметрам электрической сети. При использовании устройства в электрической сети частотой 60 Гц, никаких дополнительных

действий не требуется.

Устройство предназначено для работы в сети переменного тока с частотой 50 Гц или 60 Гц, для работы устройства при требуемой номинальной частоте никакая настройка не требуется.

•Для удаления пыли, протрите отпариватель слегка влажной тканью, после чего вытрите насухо.

ОСНОВНОЕ НАЗНАЧЕНИЕ ОТПАРИВАТЕЛЯ

ВНИМАНИЕ!

Отпариватель можно использовать для быстрого отпаривания одежды и придания вещам естественного вида. Для вещей с глубокими складками, рекомендуется дополнительно воспользоваться утюгом.

–Отпариватель предназначен только для бытового использования.

–Отпариватель предназначен для ухода за деликатными тканями, помогает в разглаживании складок на одежде или предметах интерьера.

–Если вы сомневаетесь в использовании отпаривателя для определённого типа ткани или одежды, попробуйте отпарить ткань с изнаночной стороны.

–Отпаривая деликатные ткани, держите отпариватель на расстоянии от 5 до 15 см от изделия.

–Насадка-щётка (5) удаляет ворсинки и мелкие загрязнения с одежды, облегчает разглаживание складок, улучшает проникновение пара в толстые и тяжелые ткани.

ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕ ОТПАРИВАТЕЛЯ

•Перед использованием отпаривателя. нажмите и удерживайте кнопку фиксатора ручки (2), раскройте ручку (1), отпустите кнопку (2). Выбор воды

•Наполняйте резервуар (3) водопроводной водой, рекомендуется использовать воду, которая прошла дополнительную очистку бытовым фильтром.

•Если водопроводная вода жёсткая, рекомендуется смешивать ее с дистиллированной водой в соотношении 1:1, при очень жёсткой

воде смешивайте её с дистиллированной водой в соотношении 1:2 или используйте только дистиллированную воду.

ВНИМАНИЕ!

Перед отсоединением резервуара (3) убедитесь, что вилка сетевого шнура не вставлена в электрическую розетку.

•Снимите резервуар для воды (3) с корпуса отпаривателя, для этого возьмитесь за выступы с обеих сторон резервуара и снимите резервуар для воды (3).

•Заполните резервуар (3) водой. Не превышайте отметку максимального уровня. Капли воды на резервуаре (3) протрите бумажным полотенцем или сухой тканью.

•Запрещается заливать в резервуар (3) парфюмерные добавки, газированную воду, химические вещества и т. п.

•Установите резервуар для воды (3) на место и убедитесь в надёжной фиксации резервуара (3).

Включение/выключение отпаривателя

•Держите отпариватель за ручку (1).

•Вставьте вилку шнура питания в электрическую розетку, при этом загорится индикатор (6).

•Когда индикатор (6) погаснет, можно приступать к работе с отпаривателем.

•Включите подачу пара, для этого нажмите и удерживайте кнопку (8).

•Для выключения подачи пара отпустите кнопку (8).

•Для включения постоянной подачи пара, нажмите и удерживайте кнопку (8), сдвиньте фиксатор (9) в положение «», для выключения постоянной подачи пара, сдвиньте фиксатор (9) в положение «» и отпустите кнопку (8).

•После окончания работы выньте вилку сетевого шнура из электрической розетки и дайте отпаривателю остыть.

•Снимите резервуар (3), вылейте из него воду, установите резервуар (3) на место.

•Для уменьшения габаритов, нажмите и удерживайте кнопку (2), сложите ручку (1) (рис. 1).

Примечание: - при первом включении возможно появление постороннего запаха, это нормальное явление.

Рекомендации по отпариванию

•Перед основным использованием отпаривателя, проведите очистку паровой камеры, для этого направьте выходящий пар на ткань, например, попробуйте разгладить кухонное полотенце.

•Если во время работы в резервуаре (3) закончилась вода, перед снятием и наполнением резервуара (3) водой, выньте вилку сетевого шнура из электрической розетки.

•Запрещается отпаривать одежду, надетую на человека, всегда вешайте одежду только на плечики.

•Убедитесь, что карманы одежды пустые, застегните верхнюю пуговицу на одежде.

•Повесьте одежду на плечики, убедитесь, что ткань одежды не соприкасается с другими предметами. Убедитесь, что за висящей одеждой нет других предметов, которые мо-

гут быть повреждены горячим паром.

Примечание: - не рекомендуется направлять пар на металлические пуговицы или аксессуары.

ВНИМАНИЕ!

Во время работы рабочая поверхность (4) и верхняя часть корпуса (7) сильно нагреваются, не прикасайтесь к рабочей поверхности (4) и верхней части корпуса (7), а также остерегайтесь получения ожогов выходящим горячим паром.

Если вы используете отпариватель без на- садки-щётки (5), соблюдайте расстояние не менее 5 см между рабочей поверхностью

(4) и одеждой.

•Медленно проводите отпаривателем по ткани сверху вниз, расправляйте складки на ткани свободной рукой. Не подкладывайте руку под отпариваемую ткань во время включения подачи пара.

•Отпаривая рукава одежды, начинайте с верхней части рукава и перемещайте отпариватель вниз. Свободной рукой расправляйте рукав по направлению вниз и по диагонали.

•Разглаживая карманы на рубашке, перемещайте отпариватель вверх.

•После окончания работы выньте вилку сетевого шнура из электрической розетки и дайте отпаривателю остыть.

•Снимите резервуар (3), вылейте из него воду, установите резервуар (3) на место.
