The new V2 Series Route 66 gives the same great tone guitarists have come to love over the years, but with all the advantages of V2 construction plus an added noise reduction system.
With classic compression combined with classic overdrive, the Route 66 pedal gives you two great effects for the price of one. The two effects sound great on their own and can also be combined to compliment one another. The compressor can sound like a vintage Dyna Comp or Ross compressor, but is much more versatile, having a Tone control (which can be turned on or off) and a clean-boost pre-amp controlled by the Gain knob. The overdrive channel is designed to improve on the sound of the TS-808 Tubescreamer, including a bass boost switch and far more output volume than the original.
Using Route 66 with a good tube is sure to make it sing! Following are some settings to get you started:
